The diagram below shows how geothermal energy is used to produce electricity.
Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.
Student answer (Band 5.0)
The diagram distinct how electricity producing from using geothermal energy. Geothermal power plant produces electricity, where has five processing system; start with cold water and gives electricity through the generator.
The process has started with cold water, after that water has gone through a cold water pump, which distance is 4.5 kilometer after that step, water has gone through the injection well and then cold water has gotten hot, during this geothermal zone and finally hot water pumped up and reach into condenser before reaching final process, after that process steam makes pressure and create electricity powered by generator.
Overall, Geothermal power plant has followed five different to produce electricity, where process has started with cold water and this cold water has gone through the water pump and getting hot in geothermal zone and again it has gone through the hot water pump and eventually has reached in condenser chamber and create pressure power by steam and produce electricity powered using turbine and finally supply electricity to the electricity tower.
