The diagram below shows how geothermal energy is used to produce electricity.
Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.
Student answer (Band 5.0)
The diagram ilustrates on how geothermal power plant uses its energy to produce electricity.
Overall,their is 5 process of how is geothermal power plant woks,from a simple cold water that was pumped through geothermal zone (hot rocks).And was pumped into a condenser the energy made by the turbine is now the generator to produce electricity supply.
Fist the cold water from the river is pumped down into a deep of 4.5 kilometers of the water bed,and was injected into the specialized well where hot rocks is located which is callled the geothermal zone,from its another corner of production well it is now hot and then pumped out into the condenser.
Moreover,the water pumped out from the collection wall of hot rocks was steamed the hot water, its hot particles formed a turbine.Now the formed turbines produced the major source of electricity and becomes the generator which supplies energy to power plants.
