Discuss both these views and give your own opinion.
Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your own knowledge or experience.
Student answer (Band 5.0)
Most of the indiviuals think that allowing the childern to make their own choices on daily matters make them a person of a society who only thinks about there selfs while other thinks its significant for childerns to make their own choices about matters that affect them. Both point of view are good in diffrent prespectives.
In my opinion, youngsters should be able to take their on decision, on their daily matters because it gives them the selection of opinions and freedom . I belive that if you follows some other people you never be able to become independant. For instance my little sister cannot take their own decisions ,we always implemant our opinions on her since her childhood so her mind cannot make their own choices and have no creativity.
Overall, i strongly belive on that also some time you need your adult ones opinions because they guide you better than any one else and you make less mistakes.Such as in school our teachers guides us better about certain topic which even we cannot process.
In conclusion, if childrens make their own choices they become more creative and can learn from their own experiances rather than they rely on other selection or opinions, you need your elders advice only when you needed or you can handle that situation

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
You give a clear personal preference for children making everyday decisions, and the example of your sister begins to explain how adult control may limit independence and creativity. However, the discussion of the opposing view is brief: the point that adults can guide children and help them avoid mistakes is mentioned, but not fully explained or balanced against your position. The response therefore addresses the task only partially, with ideas that remain limited and under-developed. The conclusion repeats your view rather than adding support. The response also contains 219 words, so it does not meet the required minimum of 250; use the extra space to develop both perspectives with specific reasons and examples.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, a paragraph supporting your opinion, a paragraph acknowledging adult guidance, and a conclusion. This gives the reader some organisation. However, progression between ideas is not always clear: the second paragraph focuses on independence, while the next begins with “Overall” and shifts to adult advice without clearly signalling that this is the opposing view. Linking phrases such as “For instance” and “In conclusion” help, but connections are sometimes mechanical, and several ideas are compressed into long sentences. Develop one main point per paragraph and use clearer transitions to show how each point relates to the two views.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some relevant vocabulary for the topic, including “independent,” “creativity,” “opinions,” and “decisions,” and the reader can generally understand your main message. However, the range is limited and several word-choice, collocation, and spelling errors make the writing less clear or natural. Examples include “selection of opinions,” “implement our opinions on her,” and “rely on other selection”; these do not express your intended meaning idiomatically. Frequent misspellings such as “indiviuals,” “childern,” and “experiances” also affect accuracy. Build a more precise range around autonomy and guidance, and check spelling and common word combinations before submitting.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and more complex sentences, including a conditional idea in “if you follows some other people” and a reason clause in “because they guide you better.” However, complex structures are often faulty, and errors occur frequently enough to make some sentences difficult to follow. For example, “Most of the individuals think that allowing … make them” has problems with agreement and sentence structure, while “my little sister cannot take their own decisions” has unclear pronoun agreement. There are also errors in verb forms and punctuation, as in “our teachers guides us” and the run-on “mistakes.Such as.” Practise subject–verb agreement, pronoun reference, and sentence boundaries, then proofread each sentence.
