Student answer (Band 6.5)
A proportion of people makes their children to make decision on what they like in their daily uses in spite of outfits, recreational activities and food which help them to make personal decisions, while others critic this view and thinking it can only leading into making self-centered individuals. My prospective align with former opinion.
To begin with, some parenting advice focuses on making everyday decision on behalf of their children as they believe this practice can make them attached with parents and values their emotions. Otherwise, they can be rebellious do not follow their parents' advice. For instance, a survey conducted by a university on students whose parents make decision for their everyday activities, found that those students become more dependent on parents or guardians for their life choices.
On to contrary, parents allowing children in making everyday choices become more confident and independent. They have sense of responsibility as they know their decision is going to not only affect themselves but their parents as well. Furthermore, as they on to this practice since their early age, they mastering in making healthy life decisions. They understand the value of making choices and pay attention to others' decisions as well to make it suitable for them. A report has been published by a company which showed the numbers of succeeded employees who had been started making own decision at very young age.
In my prospective, giving authority to children to decide their own choices during the young age make them more confident, understanding responsibility of it and make life decision independently. So, every parents should follow this practice in their parenting techniques for making confident and self-dependent human beings.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.5
The response addresses both sides of the argument and provides a clear personal opinion. However, the development of ideas is somewhat limited. For instance, the argument regarding children becoming 'rebellious' if they do not make their own decisions is mentioned but not fully explored. Similarly, the evidence provided—such as the mention of a 'university survey' and a 'report by a company'—is vague and lacks specific detail, which prevents the argument from being fully convincing. To improve, you should aim to provide more concrete examples or deeper explanations for your claims to ensure the response is more thoroughly developed.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.5
The essay is organized into clear paragraphs, and there is a logical progression of ideas. You use some cohesive devices, such as 'To begin with', 'On to contrary', and 'Furthermore', to link your points. However, some of these transitions are slightly awkward or grammatically incorrect, such as 'On to contrary' (should be 'On the contrary'). Additionally, the referencing is sometimes unclear; for example, in the first paragraph, the phrase 'former opinion' is used, but the preceding sentence structure makes it slightly ambiguous which view is being referred to. Improving the accuracy of your linking words will help the flow of your writing.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.0
The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task, but it lacks the precision and range required for a higher band. There are several instances of awkward word choice and collocation errors, such as 'daily uses' instead of 'daily life' or 'daily activities', and 'critic this view' instead of 'criticize this view'. You also use 'succeeded employees', which is not a standard collocation; 'successful employees' would be more appropriate. While you attempt to use some topic-specific vocabulary, the frequent errors in word choice and the reliance on basic phrasing limit the score in this criterion.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.0
The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors that occasionally impede readability. Examples include 'A proportion of people makes their children to make decision' (should be 'makes their children make decisions'), 'in spite of outfits' (likely meant 'such as outfits'), and 'as they on to this practice' (should be 'as they have engaged in this practice'). Subject-verb agreement and preposition usage are inconsistent throughout the text. While the meaning is generally clear, the high frequency of errors prevents the writing from reaching a higher band. Focusing on basic sentence construction and proofreading for subject-verb agreement would be beneficial.
