Student answer (Band 6.0)
Nowadays, some individuals are thing that allowing children to make their own decision on every daily routine matters is likely to result in a communities of the peoples who only think about their own wishes. While other people believe that it is important for the children to make decision about matters that affect them. I believe both the views have their own perspective about the child making decision. Both the views are explained in below paragraphs.
To begin with, most of peoples in our society are think that makings their child own decision are better to their life while they facing various kind pf challenging. However, so many child are make a good and better decision in some phase of their life without parents helps they become success or loss that learn to child very significant lesson of the life. For example, so many child are make good decision about some matter is have positive impact on the life.
Following that, some parents are more concern about their child so that can not allowing to making decision by them self and also they have very worry about their child life. Apart from this, some individuals are have experience of their life for making bad decision so they can not give the right to make their own decision by them self.
In conclusion, some children are learn a good thing by making decision by them self and parents have also worry about making own decision. In my opinion both the views are correct for making decision to the child by own.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
The response addresses both sides of the argument and provides an opinion, fulfilling the basic requirements of the task. However, the development of ideas is limited. The arguments are repetitive and lack specific examples or logical depth. For instance, the second paragraph mentions children making decisions but fails to explain how this leads to the 'selfish' society mentioned in the prompt. The conclusion is also quite brief and does not effectively synthesize the arguments presented. To improve, you should focus on expanding your points with clear, logical explanations and concrete examples that directly relate to the prompt's specific concerns about societal impact.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The essay is organized into paragraphs, which is a positive step. However, the progression of ideas is often unclear due to the limited range of cohesive devices. While you use transition words like 'To begin with' and 'In conclusion', they are often used mechanically or incorrectly. The internal logic within paragraphs is weak, making it difficult for the reader to follow the flow of your argument. Referencing is also inconsistent, which occasionally obscures the connection between sentences. To improve, try using a wider variety of linking words and ensure that each sentence logically follows from the previous one.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.5
The vocabulary is quite basic and repetitive, which limits your ability to express complex ideas. There are frequent errors in word choice and collocation, such as 'some individuals are thing' instead of 'think' and 'makings their child own decision'. These errors sometimes make the meaning difficult to grasp. You rely heavily on simple, high-frequency words. To achieve a higher band score, you should work on using more precise vocabulary related to the topic, such as 'autonomy', 'nurture', 'decision-making skills', or 'overprotective', and ensure that you use words in their correct grammatical form.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
The essay contains frequent grammatical errors that often impede communication. There are consistent issues with subject-verb agreement (e.g., 'some individuals are thing', 'so many child are make'), incorrect verb forms, and missing articles. The sentence structures are largely simple, and attempts at more complex sentences are often grammatically flawed. For example, 'some parents are more concern about their child so that can not allowing to making decision' is structurally incorrect. To improve, focus on mastering basic sentence construction, specifically verb tenses and subject-verb agreement, before attempting more complex structures.
