Student answer (Band 5.5)
Every person on the earth wants freedom not just physically but also about their opinions as well about daily matter decisions. Nowadays , children want to take their decision by own and not to depend on other for any matter. Some individuls think that giving decision power to children create a society where they only think themselves not for other . I shall describe both opinions then i put my point of view regarding them .
Firstly, Children want freedom for their daily life matters specially about food and clothes. As every youngster take food daily and want to eat food according to his taste bud while elders have different choice about dishes. for example if a children want to eat icecream but elder deny his request which create bad about elders . As fashion change time by time and now children want the dresses which they see on social media and they want to look like a star which they like.
Opponents have different view regarding this matter. according to them they say that children only take decisions in those matters which affect them right now or in future. To strong their they give an example about eduction and carrer choice. Their prepective is that every children should have right to take decision about choice of field in which they want to persue their carrer but not all matters.
In conclusion, from freedom point of view every person has right to take decison of own but for broader prespective of children and society need limitation. For my point of view to create balance children should have limited decisions power but not all which is best for thier present as well as for future.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5
The response addresses both views and provides a clear personal opinion. However, the development of ideas is limited. The arguments regarding food and clothing are somewhat superficial, and the discussion on education and career choices is underdeveloped. The prompt asks for a discussion on whether allowing children to make choices leads to self-centeredness, but the essay focuses more on the desire for freedom rather than the societal consequences mentioned in the prompt. To improve, you should provide more specific examples and deeper analysis of the potential long-term impacts on a child's character and societal development.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5
The essay is organized into four paragraphs, which is appropriate. There is a basic logical flow, but the use of cohesive devices is mechanical and sometimes inaccurate. For example, 'To strong their they give an example' is grammatically broken and lacks a clear transition. Referencing is occasionally unclear, and the progression of ideas between sentences is sometimes disjointed. To reach a higher band, you should use a wider range of linking words (e.g., 'consequently,' 'furthermore,' 'in contrast') and ensure that each paragraph has a clear topic sentence that connects back to the main argument.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.0
The vocabulary is adequate for the task but lacks variety and precision. There are several instances of word-choice errors, such as 'decision power' instead of 'decision-making autonomy' and 'prepective' instead of 'perspective.' The spelling is also inconsistent (e.g., 'individuls,' 'eduction,' 'carrer'). While the meaning is generally clear, the limited range of vocabulary prevents a higher score. You should focus on learning collocations and more sophisticated academic vocabulary to express complex ideas more accurately.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0
The essay relies heavily on simple sentence structures. While there are attempts at complex sentences, they are often marred by grammatical errors, such as 'if a children want to eat icecream but elder deny his request which create bad about elders.' Subject-verb agreement is frequently incorrect (e.g., 'every youngster take food'), and there are issues with article usage and punctuation. The frequency of these errors is high enough to cause some difficulty for the reader. Increasing your control over complex structures and proofreading for basic errors would significantly improve your score.
