There are several reason to the individuals make liberty to their chidren. Parents allows to the liberty to make some decisions can help them become independent and responsible. When teenagers are involved take a decision sirectly ipact in your life, so that's why they can truthly thinking after that they take some making decision. Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
The response addresses all parts of the task by discussing both views on children making everyday decisions and providing a personal opinion. However, the development of ideas remains limited and under-developed. For instance, the discussion on why children gain independence is rushed, and the counterarguments regarding negative impacts rely on basic assertions about unhealthy food and lost education without deep extension. While a position is presented throughout the essay, the reasoning is somewhat repetitive and lacks the fully supported argumentation required for a higher level. To progress, the writer needs to expand each main idea with more detailed explanations and relevant, specific examples.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The essay displays some overall organization with clear paragraphing separating the introduction, body paragraphs, and conclusion. However, there is a lack of clear overall progression, and the logical flow between sentences is frequently disrupted. Cohesive devices are often inadequate, inaccurate, or repetitive, such as the frequent misuse of transitional phrases like 'Meanwhile' and 'Moreover'. Additionally, referencing and pronoun use are unclear in places (for example, 'lost your education'), which hinders the smooth development of the argument. To improve, the writer should focus on using a wider and more accurate range of cohesive links and ensure that each sentence logically builds on the previous one.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
The vocabulary used is limited and minimally adequate for the task. The writer attempts some less common vocabulary, but noticeable errors in word choice, word form, and collocation frequently occur, such as 'prove a more freedom', 'patent can allow autonomy', and 'interence subject'. Furthermore, there are multiple spelling and morphological errors, including 'chices', 'sirectly', 'ipact', 'truthly', 'enought', and 'guidence'. These lexical inaccuracies and non-standard forms cause some difficulty for the reader and restrict the score. To achieve a higher band, the writer must expand their vocabulary range and improve accuracy in word formation and spelling.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5
The response demonstrates a very limited range of sentence structures, relying primarily on simple sentences and attempts at complex structures that are frequently faulty. There are frequent grammatical errors throughout the text, including missing articles ('in past era'), incorrect verb forms ('children to provide freedom', 'parents allows to the liberty'), and flawed prepositional use within grammatical patterns. These frequent errors often cause difficulty for the reader and can distort the intended meaning. To improve, the writer needs to gain better control over basic sentence patterns, subject-verb agreement, and verb tenses, while reducing the density of grammatical mistakes.
