Student answer (Band 5.0)

In the society, many people thinks that if the children allowed to get there decisions on its own choices, the children become selfish. On the other hand some people thinks that we should get permission to the children to make their matters in daily life.We should talk the both views in the paraghraph.

First of all, the people who thinks that we should not get permission to their children to make their matters is because the parents think that their children do not make their matter, if they solve their everyday matters they would only think about their own chioces and became very selfish. In the society, many people that who do nat get permisssion to their children to solve their matters.

On the other hand, some people think that we should allowed permission to our children to get solution of their problems. such parent also think that if the children solve thier problem by itself, he knows the everyday problems and if he faced the problem in next time he also knows how to face the problem and he knows hoe to solve the problem. From this activity, the children should encouraged and he also knows to solve every problem because he also face such problems in daily routine matters.

To conclude that,I have discussed both the views and I think that the parents who give permission to their children to solve their problems by its own are good instead of these parents who do not ge permission to their children.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0

The response addresses the prompt by discussing both views on whether children should make everyday choices and provides a personal opinion, sitting at the lower end of task achievement. However, the ideas are quite limited and under-developed. For instance, the discussion regarding children becoming selfish lacks strong supporting examples or deeper explanation, relying instead on repetitive phrasing such as 'solve their everyday matters they would only think about their own chioces'. While a position is presented, particularly in the conclusion where you state that 'parents who give permission to their children... are good', the overall development of arguments remains basic and restricted.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5

The essay displays some overall organization with a visible attempt at paragraphing, including an introduction, body paragraphs addressing each view, and a conclusion. However, there is a lack of clear overall progression of ideas, and cohesive devices are frequently inadequate, inaccurate, or repetitive. For example, transition phrases like 'First of all' and 'On the other hand' are used, but sentences within paragraphs often loop back on themselves rather than advancing the argument smoothly, as seen in the second paragraph where ideas about parents not giving permission are restated multiple times without logical advancement.

Lexical Resource: Band 4.5

The vocabulary used is very limited and minimally adequate for the task. There are noticeable errors in word choice, word form, and spelling that occasionally cause difficulty for the reader. Examples of lexical strain include 'get there decisions on its own choices', 'get permission to the children', and repeated spelling errors like 'chioces', 'becam', 'permisssion', 'allowed permission', and 'hoe' instead of 'how'. The writer attempts to use basic everyday terms related to the topic, but the lack of precise lexical control restricts the clarity and range of the expression.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5

The grammatical range is quite limited, relying mostly on simple or repetitive sentence structures. Attempts at complex sentences are frequently faulty, leading to frequent errors in grammar and punctuation that can cause difficulty for the reader. Noticeable issues include subject-verb agreement problems such as 'many people thinks that' and 'the children allowed to get', incorrect preposition use and missing articles like 'in the society', and awkward verb patterns like 'we should get permission to the children'. These persistent errors reflect a struggle with basic grammatical structures and sentence formation.
