Student answer (Band 5.0)
there is considerable debate where some people thought whether the children were allowed to make their choices on everyday will transform society for individuals to think about only their wishes while some argue that it is substantial for children to make decisions about matter that affect them, in my perspective the children could be free to take decisions for them selves over daily life choices .
One the ond end, It had some essential drawbacks for society in view of individuals who think that children would transform society while only for fulfillng their choices where the society had different income classes where the children from low income class may get involved in crimal activites while chosing their wishes. it also put burdens on parents if the children demand for his wishes for example, although the demand of elite background children would be fulfill conviently, but the low income family bacame pressurize.
On the other hand, there were positive aspects where the children were free to demand for their wishes, if they get what they wish they get independent by which they have feeling of excitment, in addition if the childrens were free for wishes they may get good connection with parents.
in my opinion the children should be free for their wishes because through that childrens were free to think and may be encouraged for fullfilling the demands for parents where the get involve in positive activities where the parents have good relationship with them.
in conclusion, there were positive aspects where the children were free to chice their wishes, whereas some time it put burdens over parents of lower income class, in my perspective it would be best to let children to choice their choices by which they share everything with their parents.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
You give a clear overall preference for allowing children to make everyday choices, and you attempt to discuss both views. The paragraph about possible disadvantages mentions pressure on parents and differences between income groups, while the benefits paragraph refers to independence and a closer relationship with parents. However, the discussion only partially addresses the issue: the claim that children from low-income families may become involved in crime is not clearly explained or convincingly connected to making everyday choices. The benefits are also asserted rather than developed with specific reasoning or an example. Your position is present, but its justification shifts and remains general. Explain each side more directly and support the main points with relevant examples to make the response more complete.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has an introduction, separate paragraphs for opposing views, your opinion, and a conclusion, so the reader can identify its broad structure. You also use signposts such as “On the other hand,” “in my opinion,” and “in conclusion.” However, progression within paragraphs is often difficult to follow: the link between income differences, children’s choices, and criminal activity is unclear, and several ideas are joined in long sentences. Connectors such as “where” and “by which” are repeated or used imprecisely, while references such as “their wishes” can be unclear. Give each paragraph a focused main idea, then explain it in a logical sequence using clear links and references.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some relevant vocabulary for the topic, including “independent,” “income classes,” “burdens,” and “relationship with parents.” This gives you a basic range for discussing the issue. However, the vocabulary is limited and several noticeable word-choice, collocation, and spelling errors make parts difficult to understand. For example, “free to demand for their wishes” and “choice their choices” do not express the intended meaning naturally; “crimal activites,” “fulfillng,” and “conviently” are also misspelled. Repeated use of “wishes” and “children” further limits variety. Build a set of accurate phrases for autonomy and parental responsibility, and check spelling and collocations when editing.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt some longer sentences and use subordinate clauses, for example, “if they get what they wish” and “although the demand … would be fulfill conveniently.” However, complex structures are often faulty, and frequent errors in tense, agreement, articles, and sentence boundaries make the meaning harder to follow. The opening sentence is a run-on, and forms such as “the children were free” and “they get independent” do not consistently match the intended general argument. There are also problems with plural and possessive forms, as in “the childrens” and “his wishes.” Practise writing shorter, complete sentences first, then combine ideas with accurately formed clauses and consistent present-tense verbs.
