Student answer (Band 4.5)
Some people believe that allowing children to make their own decision independently on everyday matters (such as food, clothes and entertainment) the outcome of this behaviour in a society would be link to protection of the individual interest rather than the whole society.
I believes that some extent children are allow to take their decision unless their guardian donot have any objection in it . This is the first step which develops a self dependency in their decison making abilities . They held accountable and face the consequences for their own decision insteadof someothers . This would boast their confidence and ability to resistant decision impose by the other . They adjust themselves in any environment .
Conversely when a child is not capable to understand the rights of the society . They prefers to safeguard their personal interest

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.0
You introduce the issue and give a partial personal view: “children are allow to take their decision unless their guardian donot have any objection.” You also offer a relevant benefit—children may become accountable and more confident. However, the response does not adequately discuss both views: the opposing concern about selfishness is only briefly mentioned, and there is no developed explanation or example. Your own position is also difficult to identify consistently. The response contains 120 words, so it does not meet the required minimum of 250; this leaves too little space to address the task fully. Develop each side with reasons and a specific example, then state your opinion clearly and support it.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.0
There is a basic attempt to organise the response, including a shift to the opposing view with “Conversely.” The ideas about independence, accountability and confidence are related, so a central line of thought is present. However, the response ends abruptly after “They prefers to safeguard their personal interest,” and the relationship between this point and the earlier discussion is not explained. Several ideas are placed together without clear links, and there is no conclusion to summarise your position. Use separate paragraphs for the two views and your opinion, and connect each claim to its explanation or example. This would give the reader a clearer progression rather than a series of incomplete points.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some relevant vocabulary for the topic, including “self dependency,” “accountable,” “consequences,” and “personal interest.” These choices show an attempt to discuss the effects of children making decisions. However, the range is limited, and several word choices or collocations make the meaning unclear, such as “protection of the individual interest,” “resistant decision impose,” and “boast their confidence.” Spelling and word-form errors, including “decison” and “someothers,” also reduce clarity. Aim for more natural topic phrases and check spelling and collocation. For example, describe children as “developing independence” and say that they may “resist decisions imposed by others.”
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and more extended sentence forms, including a conditional idea in “unless their guardian donot have any objection.” However, control is inconsistent, and errors in verb forms, agreement, articles and sentence construction sometimes make the meaning difficult to follow. Examples include “I believes,” “children are allow,” “They held accountable,” and “They prefers.” The opening sentence is also incomplete or structurally unclear after the parenthetical list. Practise forming complete sentences with a clear subject and verb, and check agreement and tense in each clause. For instance, “Children should be allowed to make decisions” and “They become accountable for their choices” would express your ideas more accurately.
