Student answer (Band 5.0)
In this dangerous society parents have many kinds of difficulties which they have to face because of there childrens some people think that it is much better to give free hand to there childrens about chossing on daily life matters such as food, clothes and there daily life entertainment
Firstly, that parents who thinks to allowing childrens to do what they want their point of view is different they thought that if they give there children a free hand so there kids become much confident and they built a decision power in them and there youngsters can easily face the difficulties of the society. Overmore those kids become more comfertable to live there own life.
Secondly, the parents who thinks that childrens must want to follow the instructions of there parents because that kids are not enough knowledgable and they do not know how to deal with this dangerous society. That elders thinks that if the youngers make decisions on there own will power so it is possible that they may face some conflicts and that is real tho because that kids are too young for life changing decisions that decisions may affects there lifes and may they are harmful for them
Overall, from my perspective childrens must needs parents because parents have more experience about spending peaceful life so i think that childrens must have to discuss about everything happening in there lifes. Furthermore, everyone has there own view of thinking the parents who thinks about that there offsprings make there own choice that is soo because i guess they want to built there childrens more confident and for more struggle

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
You address both views: the first body paragraph says children may become more confident and learn to make decisions, while the second explains parents’ concern that young people lack experience and may make harmful choices. Your own view is also present in the conclusion: children should discuss matters with their parents. However, the discussion remains general and the position is not fully clear, since you also endorse parents allowing children to make their own choices without explaining how the two views can be balanced. The ideas about confidence and possible harm need specific examples and fuller explanation. To strengthen the response, state your position clearly in the introduction and develop each view with a relevant everyday example.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has a recognisable structure, with an opening, two paragraphs presenting contrasting views, and a concluding paragraph. Sequencing words such as “Firstly,” “Secondly,” and “Overall” help signal the stages of the discussion. However, progression within paragraphs is sometimes difficult to follow: several ideas are joined into long sentences, and the conclusion introduces the idea that parents want children to become confident without clearly connecting it to your recommendation that children discuss everything with them. Some linking expressions, including “Overmore” and “Furthermore,” do not establish precise relationships between ideas. Use clearer topic sentences, separate supporting points into sentences, and make references such as “that decisions” explicit. This would make the organisation easier to follow and reduce the mechanical feel of the transitions.
Lexical Resource: Band 4.5
You use some relevant vocabulary for the topic, including “confident,” “decision power,” “instructions,” and “experience,” so the reader can identify the main ideas. However, the range is limited and several word choices or collocations are inaccurate, sometimes making meaning less clear. For example, “free hand” is not the natural expression here, “built a decision power” is unclear, and “more struggle” does not convey a precise benefit. Spelling errors such as “chossing,” “comfertable,” and “knowledgable” also reduce accuracy. Aim to use familiar words precisely before attempting more ambitious expressions, and check spelling and collocations. More specific vocabulary for parental guidance, independence, and everyday choices would help express the argument with greater clarity.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5
You attempt to connect ideas using clauses with “because,” “if,” and “that,” and you try to express cause and consequence. However, the range of sentence structures is limited, and complex sentences are often faulty, which can make the reader work to understand the meaning. For instance, “parents who thinks to allowing childrens” has problems with agreement and verb form, while “those decisions may affects there lifes” contains errors in the verb and possessive form. Sentence boundaries and punctuation are also inconsistent, especially in the opening and the long sentence beginning “Secondly.” Practise building accurate simple sentences first, then combine them with one clear subordinate clause. Check subject–verb agreement, verb patterns, articles, and punctuation when editing.
