Student answer (Band 5.0)

The contemenation about how decision making should teach to childrens,by letting them to make their own direction on teh base of their will.i believe that decison making is one of obselte

ability which affect childern largely beacause it tecah them how to diffrentiate between them on teh base of emprical reasioning and its outcome. While other aurgures that that, it is important for children to make decisions about matters that affect them. In this eassay we will discuss both point of view.

i am inclined to believe that we should teach our childrens about decsion making by allowing them to make their own choices about daily life activity such as a diet ,wearing and entertainment but under proper supervsion. We should teach our children about on what

bases should we judge about our decsion and emphasise about the outcome. children dont have their brain fully develop yet,if we let them make thier choices on their own will it may lead them in a unsuitable condition or how their decsion affect the socitey.Furthermore,if children did not learn about cause and affect of their decisons on other, it builds individuals who only think about their own will and benfits.

For instance,we let a child to eat what he/she want, usally children love fast food Although, which have many downsides here is the important part as parent should highlight about what their decsion can lead them and how it affect health.Consequently, children understand about the pros and cons, in result children learn decision making skill.

On the other hand some people believes that, children should take their own decisions about how it is siginificant for thereselves. However in adult life most of our decisions affect our surrounding, sometime our benefits has worse affect on others its necessery for children to earn about the outcomes of decision and its affects.

in conclusion, by discussing both perspective we can say thet we let children to make ther own choices along with parenting about to learn about its outcome and dffirentiate between a good decison and bad decison.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0

You address both views and give a clear overall position: children should make everyday choices with parental supervision and guidance. The discussion of the first view is supported by the example of choosing fast food, which explains how parents can help children consider health consequences. You also connect decision-making to its effects on other people. However, the opposing view is only briefly presented: the paragraph says decisions matter to children but does not explain why supporters value children’s autonomy or provide a developed example. Some ideas, such as how children’s choices affect society, are also asserted rather than fully explained. Develop both perspectives more evenly and make the reasoning behind your position more explicit.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0

The response has an introduction, separate paragraphs for the two perspectives, and a conclusion, so the reader can identify its broad structure. Linking expressions such as “Furthermore,” “For instance,” and “On the other hand” help signal relationships between ideas. However, progression within paragraphs is sometimes difficult to follow: the fast-food example moves from children’s preferences to parental guidance and then to the conclusion without clearly separating each step. The second viewpoint is very short, and the conclusion largely repeats the position rather than bringing the discussion together. Some connectors are awkward or repetitive, including “Although” in the example and “by discussing both perspective.” Use clearer topic sentences and connect each example directly to the point it supports.

Lexical Resource: Band 4.5

You attempt vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “decision making,” “supervision,” “outcome,” “empirical reasoning,” and “pros and cons.” These choices show an effort to discuss consequences and guidance rather than relying only on basic terms. However, spelling errors and inaccurate word forms are frequent and sometimes make the reader pause, as in “contemenation,” “obselte,” “aurgures,” and “siginificant.” Several phrases are also unnatural or imprecise, such as “make their own direction,” “daily life activity,” and “earn about the outcomes.” Aim for accurate, natural collocations and check spelling carefully; using simpler, correct expressions is more effective than attempting a sophisticated word that does not fit.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and more complex sentence forms, including conditional structures such as “if we let them make their choices…” and a reason clause beginning “because.” This gives the response some structural variety, and the main position can generally be understood. However, some errors in sentence construction, agreement, articles, and punctuation reduce clarity. For example, “some people believes” has a subject–verb agreement problem, while “children dont have their brain fully develop yet” contains several grammatical issues that obscure the intended meaning. Sentence boundaries are also unclear in places, particularly around “Although” in the fast-food example. Review agreement, verb forms, and sentence boundaries, then proofread to make complex sentences complete and easy to follow.
