Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
You have addressed all three bullet points: providing event details, mentioning what you liked about the hotel, and suggesting improvements. However, the response is slightly confused in its execution. You mention that you 'recently helped' organize an event, but the content of your letter is written in the future tense, as if you are still planning it. Furthermore, you failed to actually mention what you liked about the hotel, which was a specific requirement of the prompt. The ideas are present but lack the necessary development to reach a higher band.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.5
The letter is organized into paragraphs, which helps the reader follow the structure. However, the use of cohesive devices is somewhat mechanical and occasionally inaccurate, such as the transition 'In addition' followed by a sentence that does not logically build on the previous one. The progression of ideas is sometimes disjointed, particularly in the transition between the event description and the request for decorations. While the overall message is clear, the flow between sentences could be improved with more varied linking words and better logical sequencing.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.0
Your vocabulary is generally adequate for the task, but there are several instances of awkward word choice and collocation errors. For example, 'illustration of an electronic stuff' is unnatural; 'demonstration of electronic products' would be more appropriate. Similarly, 'lunch starting of next month' should be 'launch at the start of next month'. You rely on basic vocabulary, and there is a lack of precision in your phrasing. To improve, focus on learning common collocations related to business and event planning to sound more professional.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
There are frequent grammatical errors throughout the text that occasionally impede the flow. Examples include 'my company wants to held' (should be 'hold'), 'all responsibilities to arrange all the things which is needed' (should be 'are needed'), and 'it has to be look professional' (should be 'look professional'). You rely mostly on simple sentence structures, and your attempts at complex sentences often contain errors in verb tense or subject-verb agreement. Increasing your control over basic sentence construction and proofreading for tense consistency will significantly improve your score.
