Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0

The letter addresses all three bullet points: providing event details, mentioning positive aspects of the hotel, and suggesting improvements. However, the development of these points is somewhat limited. The 'details' are brief, and the 'suggestions' are restricted to a single request regarding decoration. The tone is generally appropriate for a formal letter, though the content lacks the depth required for a higher band. The purpose of the letter is clear, but the ideas could be expanded with more specific descriptions or professional requests to better satisfy the task requirements.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0

The letter is organized into paragraphs, which helps the reader follow the structure. There is a basic attempt at logical progression using transition words like 'First of all', 'Secondly', and 'Last but not least'. However, the flow between sentences is sometimes mechanical, and the referencing is occasionally unclear (e.g., 'the food is amazing of our hotel'). While the overall arrangement is coherent, the use of cohesive devices is somewhat repetitive and basic, limiting the score in this category.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.5

The vocabulary is adequate for the task but lacks variety and precision. There are several spelling errors, such as 'latter' instead of 'letter', '50Th' (capitalization), 'tear' instead of 'year', 'itallian' instead of 'Italian', and 'parly' instead of 'party'. These errors, combined with awkward phrasing like 'amazing of our hotel', indicate a limited range. To improve, you should focus on using more precise collocations and ensuring correct spelling of common words to avoid distracting the reader.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0

The letter relies mostly on simple sentence structures. There are frequent grammatical errors, such as subject-verb agreement issues ('our company have'), incorrect verb tenses ('we are finding'), and awkward sentence construction ('that will be very beneficial to attend each and every employee'). Punctuation is also inconsistent, particularly with capitalization. While the meaning is generally understandable, the high frequency of errors in basic grammar and sentence structure prevents a higher score. You should practice complex sentence formation and proofread for basic subject-verb agreement.
