Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0

You have addressed all three bullet points of the task: providing details about the event, mentioning positive aspects of the hotel, and suggesting areas for improvement. The tone is generally appropriate for a formal letter, although the opening and closing salutations contain errors. The ideas are relevant and clearly presented, though some parts, such as the description of the event room, could be more concisely phrased to improve flow. Overall, you have successfully completed the task requirements by providing sufficient detail for each section.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0

The letter is organized into logical paragraphs, which helps the reader follow your points. However, the use of cohesive devices is somewhat limited and occasionally mechanical. For example, the transition between the event details and the positive feedback is abrupt. Some sentences are run-on, such as the second paragraph, which makes the progression of ideas feel slightly cluttered. Improving the use of linking words (e.g., 'furthermore', 'consequently', 'in addition') would help create a smoother flow between your sentences and paragraphs.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.5

You demonstrate an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, using terms like 'spacious', 'well-equipped', and 'cuisine'. However, there are several spelling errors ('appriciation', 'cusine', 'visauallisation', 'resove', 'arrenge') and word choice issues ('event room marshal' instead of 'conference room', 'fluctuation occurring' instead of 'fluctuating'). These errors are noticeable but do not prevent the reader from understanding your message. To reach a higher band, focus on accurate spelling and using more precise collocations in a professional context.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0

You use a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors throughout the text. Issues include incorrect verb tenses ('you all had done'), missing articles ('There was event'), and punctuation errors (lack of spaces after commas). The sentence structure is often repetitive, and some phrases are awkward, such as 'I am so glad to hear you that'. While the meaning is generally clear, the high frequency of errors in basic grammar and punctuation limits the score. Focusing on subject-verb agreement and sentence boundaries will significantly improve your writing.
