Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0

You have addressed all three bullet points: providing details about the event, mentioning positive aspects of the hotel, and suggesting improvements. The purpose of the letter is clear, and the tone is generally appropriate for a formal request. However, the development of ideas is somewhat limited. For instance, the details about the event are a bit repetitive, and the suggestion for improvement could be more professionally articulated. To reach a higher band, ensure that your ideas are fully extended with more specific details rather than just stating them briefly. Overall, the task is fulfilled, but the depth of the content could be improved.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0

The letter is organized into logical paragraphs, which helps the reader follow your points. You use some cohesive devices like 'Moreover' and 'Apart from that' to link ideas. However, the flow between sentences is sometimes mechanical, and there are instances where the connection between ideas is slightly awkward, such as in the first paragraph where the sentence structure is fragmented. Using a wider variety of linking words and ensuring that each paragraph has a clear topic sentence would improve the overall coherence of your writing.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.5

You have a sufficient range of vocabulary to convey your message, such as 'ambiance', 'technological facilities', and 'customer service'. However, there are some inaccuracies in word choice and collocation, such as 'take your attention to' (should be 'draw your attention to') and 'alreday check you menu' (spelling and grammar errors). The vocabulary is generally functional but lacks the precision and sophistication required for higher bands. Focusing on learning common collocations and checking your spelling will help you improve your lexical range and accuracy.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0

You use a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors throughout the text. Examples include 'i am writing... want to organise' (missing subject), 'which come from' (tense error), and 'its really helpful' (missing punctuation/contraction error). Additionally, there are consistent issues with capitalization (e.g., 'i', 'canada'). While these errors do not completely impede communication, they are frequent enough to lower the score. You should focus on subject-verb agreement, proper capitalization, and ensuring that your complex sentences are constructed accurately.
