I earnestly request some suggestions to the hotel management that you focus to about the catering as some vegetarian food and non vegetarian food mixed some people didn’t like as they just prefer vegetarian so they didn’t try and put the complaints in the company that make me disappointed please make sure next time put separate and also mentioned with specific instructions.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
You have addressed all three bullet points of the task: providing event details, mentioning positive aspects, and suggesting improvements. However, the development of these points is somewhat uneven. The details about the event are a bit cluttered with irrelevant personal information, such as your job title and location, which is not necessary for a letter to a hotel manager. The suggestion for improvement regarding the catering is clear, but the phrasing is slightly repetitive and could be more professional. To improve, ensure that every sentence directly serves the purpose of the letter and maintains a formal tone throughout.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The letter is organised into paragraphs, which helps the reader follow your points. However, the use of cohesive devices is sometimes mechanical or inaccurate. For example, phrases like 'Apart from that' and 'I would like to bring to you notice that' are used, but the logical flow between sentences is occasionally disrupted by awkward phrasing. The transition between the positive feedback and the request for improvement is abrupt. Using a wider variety of linking words and ensuring that each paragraph has a clear, singular focus would improve the overall flow and coherence of your writing.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.5
You have an adequate range of vocabulary to convey your message, but there are several instances of incorrect word choice and collocation. For example, you used 'cousins' instead of 'cuisines', 'well maintainence' instead of 'good maintenance', and 'held' instead of 'hold' or 'organise'. These errors occasionally distract the reader. To reach a higher band, focus on using more precise terminology related to event management and ensure you are using the correct forms of words. Expanding your vocabulary to include more formal, professional expressions would also be beneficial for this type of correspondence.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
Your writing shows a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors that affect the clarity of your message. Issues include incorrect verb tenses ('I would really appreciated'), missing articles, and awkward sentence construction ('some vegetarian food and non vegetarian food mixed some people didn’t like'). Punctuation is also inconsistent, particularly with comma usage. While the meaning is generally understandable, the frequency of these errors prevents the writing from reaching a higher band. Focusing on subject-verb agreement and consistent tense usage will significantly improve your accuracy.
