Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5
You have addressed all three bullet points: providing details about the event, mentioning positive aspects, and suggesting improvements. However, the development of these ideas is limited by grammatical errors and unclear phrasing. For instance, the description of the event is confusing due to tense errors ('who will organized') and awkward phrasing ('memorize of recent memories'). While the purpose of the letter is clear, the content lacks the professional tone expected in a formal letter to a hotel manager. To improve, ensure that your ideas are fully explained and that the tone remains consistently formal throughout the correspondence.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5
The letter is organized into paragraphs, which helps the reader follow the structure. However, the use of cohesive devices is often mechanical or inaccurate. For example, the transition 'I wanna discuss the which are individually' is grammatically incorrect and disrupts the flow of ideas. Referencing is also problematic, as seen in the phrase 'who was joined the company,' where the relative pronoun is used incorrectly. While there is an overall progression, the lack of sophisticated linking words and the frequent errors in sentence structure make the text feel disjointed in places.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.0
Your vocabulary is generally adequate for the task but lacks the precision and formality required for a professional letter. You rely on informal or incorrect phrasing, such as 'wanna' (instead of 'would like to') and 'other like stuff of cuisine.' There are also issues with word choice, such as 'worsening to listen the sound quality,' which does not convey your meaning clearly. To reach a higher band, you should avoid informal contractions and focus on using more precise, topic-specific vocabulary related to event management and hospitality services.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0
There is a high frequency of grammatical errors that occasionally impede communication. You struggle with verb tenses ('who will organized'), subject-verb agreement, and the misuse of relative pronouns ('who' instead of 'which'). Sentence structures are often repetitive and contain errors in basic syntax, such as 'all rooms must be provided a air conditional facilities.' While you attempt some complex structures, they are frequently faulty. To improve, focus on mastering basic sentence construction, ensuring correct tense usage, and avoiding informal abbreviations like 'wanna' in formal writing.
