I am writing to give you some suggestion regarding your hotel services that I recent stay in your hotel for my company event celebration .
Last week, my company organized the fresher party for our new joined workers, where the event held in your party hall . The decoration was amazing , food representation was quit impressive as well as the taste was mouth watering .
During the event , there was a photo booth that impressed by every person who came to join the party. Some fun games are helpful to get to know about other coworkers.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
The letter covers all three bullet points required by the prompt: details of the event, positive aspects of the hotel, and suggestions for improvement. The tone is generally appropriate for a formal letter to a manager. However, the development of ideas is somewhat basic. For example, the suggestion regarding the parking lot is brief and could have been expanded with more specific details about why the current situation is problematic. To reach a higher band, ensure that each point is fully extended with supporting details rather than just stated.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The letter is organized into logical paragraphs, which helps the reader follow the structure of the request. There is a clear opening and closing. However, the use of cohesive devices is somewhat mechanical and limited. Transitions between sentences are occasionally abrupt, such as the jump from the photo booth description to the suggestion about the parking lot. Improving the use of linking words (e.g., 'furthermore', 'consequently', 'in addition to this') would help the flow of the text significantly.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.5
The vocabulary is adequate for the task but lacks variety and precision. Phrases like 'quit impressive' (likely a misspelling of 'quite') and 'mouth watering' are used, but there is a reliance on simple descriptors. There are also some minor errors in word choice and collocation, such as 'give some suggestion' instead of 'make some suggestions' and 'new joined workers' instead of 'newly hired employees'. Expanding your range of collocations and ensuring accurate word forms will improve your score.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
The response contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors that occasionally distract the reader. Examples include 'I recent stay' (tense error), 'the event held' (passive voice error: 'was held'), and 'impressed by every person' (should be 'impressed everyone'). Punctuation is also inconsistent, with unnecessary spaces before commas. While the meaning is generally clear, the frequency of these errors prevents the writing from reaching a higher band level.
