Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0

You have addressed all three bullet points: providing details about the event, mentioning positive aspects, and suggesting improvements. However, the development of these points is somewhat limited. For example, while you mention the projector and food, the descriptions are brief and lack detail. The suggestion regarding the wall color is clear but could be expanded to explain why it hindered the work. To reach a higher band, ensure that each point is fully developed with more descriptive language and context, which would help the reader better understand your experience and your specific feedback for the hotel management.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0

The letter is organized into logical paragraphs, which helps the reader follow your points. You use basic transition words like 'Firstly', 'Secondly', and 'Apart from it' to signal shifts in topic. However, the flow between sentences is sometimes disjointed due to grammatical errors and awkward phrasing, such as 'most of thing which I and my colleagues interested to help'. The use of cohesive devices is somewhat mechanical. To improve, focus on using a wider variety of linking words and ensuring that your sentences connect more naturally to one another to create a smoother, more professional tone.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.5

Your vocabulary is adequate for the task, but it is quite limited and repetitive. You rely on basic words like 'good', 'fantastic', and 'thing'. There are also issues with word choice and collocation, such as 'all allergies food' instead of 'dietary requirements' or 'allergy-friendly options'. Additionally, 'indicate ideas' is not the most natural way to describe using a projector. To improve, try to incorporate more precise vocabulary related to business events and hospitality, and pay closer attention to common collocations to ensure your writing sounds more natural and professional.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5

There are frequent grammatical errors throughout the letter that occasionally impede clarity. Examples include 'which held last weekend' (missing 'was'), 'I grateful for' (missing 'am'), and 'most of thing which I and my colleagues interested to help'. Your sentence structures are mostly simple, and attempts at more complex sentences often contain errors in verb tense or word order. To improve, focus on subject-verb agreement and the correct use of relative clauses. Proofreading for basic missing words like 'is', 'are', and 'the' will significantly improve the accuracy and readability of your writing.
