Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0

You have addressed all three bullet points of the prompt: providing event details, mentioning positive aspects of the hotel, and suggesting improvements. However, the development of these ideas is somewhat limited. For instance, the event details are provided, but the tone is slightly informal and disjointed. The suggestions for improvement are clear, but could be expanded with more professional justification. To improve, ensure that your ideas are fully developed and that the tone remains consistently professional throughout the letter, as this is a formal request to a hotel manager.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0

The letter is organized into paragraphs, which helps the reader follow the structure. You use some cohesive devices like 'Furthermore', 'In addition', and 'Moreover'. However, the flow between sentences is occasionally interrupted by grammatical errors and awkward phrasing, such as 'My Concern to write a letter to you as you that our company is going to organize'. The logical progression is present, but the connections between ideas could be smoother and more sophisticated to achieve a higher band score.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.5

Your vocabulary is generally adequate for the task, allowing you to communicate your requirements effectively. You use some relevant terms like 'organize', 'guests', and 'improvements'. However, there are instances of imprecise word choice, such as 'which is working in absolutely good' and 'the space of the room is quiet big'. These errors do not prevent understanding, but they limit the range and precision of your language. To improve, focus on using more natural collocations and avoiding repetitive or overly simple descriptive phrases.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0

You use a mix of simple and some complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors throughout the text. Examples include 'I hope you doing good' (missing auxiliary verb), 'Intially event is on' (missing article), and 'which is working in absolutely good' (incorrect structure). Punctuation is also inconsistent, particularly with capitalization and comma usage. While these errors do not completely impede communication, they are frequent enough to affect the clarity of your writing. Focusing on subject-verb agreement and basic sentence construction will help improve your accuracy.
