There are some special things which I really appreciate about your hotel.

First of all, the staff coordination when I came to this event to enjoy with my company members. I noticed that all your staff members provided good service. when my any team want to know anything, like where the exact things are, your staff always responded perfectly and positively.

Secondly, everything was well maintained. My company did not face any difficulty in case of a shortage of food.

However, I want to make some suggestions regarding the parking. Because of the big gathering, there was less space to park the vehicles.

Due to this difficulty, my company members received a fine ticket just becasue of this, they got disappoint little bit.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.5

You have successfully addressed all three bullet points in the prompt: providing details about the event, mentioning positive aspects of the hotel, and suggesting areas for improvement. The tone is appropriate for a formal letter. However, the development of ideas is somewhat limited. For example, while you mention the parking issue, explaining the impact (the fine) is good, but the letter could be improved by providing more specific details about the event itself, such as the nature of the company or the number of attendees, to give the manager a clearer context. Overall, the response is relevant and covers the requirements adequately.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.5

The letter is organized into clear paragraphs, which helps the reader follow your points. You use basic cohesive devices like 'First of all', 'Secondly', and 'However' to signal transitions between ideas. While the structure is logical, the flow between some sentences is slightly mechanical. For instance, the transition between the event details and the appreciation of the staff could be smoother. Additionally, some referencing is slightly unclear, such as 'when my any team want to know anything', which disrupts the flow. Using a wider variety of linking words would improve the overall cohesion.

Lexical Resource — Band 6.0

You demonstrate an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, using words like 'coordination', 'maintained', and 'suggestions'. However, there are some inaccuracies in word choice and collocation, such as 'enjoy with my company members' (should be 'enjoy the event with my colleagues') and 'fine ticket' (simply 'a fine' or 'a parking ticket'). There are also minor spelling errors like 'becasue' and 'disappoint little bit'. To reach a higher band, try to incorporate more precise, topic-specific vocabulary related to event management and hospitality services.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.0

You use a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. While the meaning is generally clear, there are frequent grammatical errors, particularly with verb tenses and article usage. For example, 'which is organized' should be 'which was organized' to match the past event, and 'when my any team want' is grammatically incorrect. There are also issues with sentence fragments and awkward phrasing, such as 'just becasue of this, they got disappoint little bit'. These errors do not impede communication, but they do indicate a need for more careful proofreading of basic sentence construction.
