Dear Sir/Madam,
I hope you are doing well. I am writing this letter in regarding the event which happened last week from our company and I managed a lot of things.
The event was well organized. Most of the employees were really happy as they enjoyed a lot. the activity which was included for members to enroll together and it helped to form the bond between them. The food quality was very good and i really appreciated for the varieties of option for vegetarian.
I would like to put some light about the Hotel and their staff. The hotel was very attractive and its design deserve an award.moreover, their staffs behaviour were also good and very friendly. They attended each of our members in fabolous way.
I think company should prefer to arrange party in between afternoon to evening , As late night party is risky for our female workers. Not only this , we should arrange some DJ system as well and place where we does not face parking issue.
your sincerely,
Ravi

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
You have addressed all three bullet points of the task: providing details about the event, mentioning positive aspects of the hotel, and suggesting improvements. The tone is generally appropriate for a formal letter. However, the development of ideas is somewhat limited. For example, when mentioning the event, you could have been more specific about the nature of the event (e.g., a team-building workshop or a product launch) to provide better context. The suggestions for improvement are relevant, but the phrasing is slightly informal. To reach a higher band, ensure that each point is fully extended with more descriptive detail.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The letter is organized into logical paragraphs, which helps the reader follow your points. You use some basic cohesive devices like 'moreover' and 'not only this'. However, the flow between sentences is sometimes mechanical, and there are issues with referencing and sentence structure that occasionally disrupt the progression of ideas. For instance, the transition between the event description and the hotel feedback could be smoother. Using a wider variety of linking words and ensuring that pronouns clearly refer back to their antecedents would improve the overall coherence of your writing.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.0
You demonstrate an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, using words like 'organized', 'attractive', and 'varieties'. However, there are several instances of awkward word choice and minor spelling errors, such as 'fabolous' (fabulous) and 'in regarding' (regarding). Some phrases are slightly unnatural, such as 'put some light about' instead of 'shed some light on' or 'make some suggestions regarding'. While your meaning is always clear, the lack of precision and the presence of spelling mistakes prevent a higher score. Expanding your vocabulary to include more precise collocations would be beneficial.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
You use a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors throughout the text. Examples include 'the activity which was included... it helped' (redundant subject), 'staffs behaviour were' (subject-verb agreement error), and 'place where we does not face' (subject-verb agreement). Punctuation is also inconsistent, particularly with spacing around commas and periods. While these errors do not prevent the reader from understanding your message, they are frequent enough to impact the overall quality of the writing. Focusing on subject-verb agreement and consistent punctuation will help improve your accuracy.
