Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0

You have addressed all three bullet points required by the task: providing details about the event, mentioning positive aspects, and suggesting improvements. However, the development of these points is somewhat limited. For example, while you mention the event was for 100 employees, the description of the event itself is brief. The tone is generally appropriate for a formal letter, though the lack of clarity in some sentences makes the communication slightly less effective. To improve, ensure that you provide more specific details to fully develop your ideas and maintain a consistent formal tone throughout the letter.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5

The letter is organized into paragraphs, which helps the reader follow the structure. However, the use of cohesive devices is quite limited and sometimes mechanical. Phrases like 'First to fall' (likely intended as 'First of all') and 'one of neagitive thing' are used to transition between ideas, but they are grammatically incorrect and hinder the flow. The logical progression of ideas is present, but the lack of varied linking words makes the writing feel a bit disjointed. Improving your use of transition signals and ensuring clear referencing would significantly enhance the coherence of your writing.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.5

Your vocabulary is generally adequate for the task, but there are frequent spelling errors (e.g., 'desigination', 'exposiure', 'apperciaiton', 'empoyes', 'neagitive') and some awkward word choices. While you are able to convey your meaning, these errors are noticeable and occasionally distract the reader. You have attempted to use some professional vocabulary, such as 'professionaly trained' and 'promoted', which is good, but you need to focus on accuracy in spelling and collocation to reach a higher band. Proofreading for common spelling mistakes would be a very effective way to improve your score.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0

There is a mix of simple and some complex sentence structures, but the accuracy is inconsistent. You have frequent errors in subject-verb agreement (e.g., '100 company employees who was promoted', 'they was professionaly trained') and punctuation issues, such as missing commas and incorrect capitalization. Some sentences are run-on or fragmented, which makes them difficult to parse. To improve, focus on basic grammatical rules like subject-verb agreement and ensure that your sentences are clearly punctuated. Reducing the frequency of these errors will help you achieve a higher band score.
