Dear Sir,
I hope you are doing great. I am writing this letter to the hotel manger about my company supervisor held annual meeting in your hotel. The name of hotel is "Taj Resort". So I decided to held the annual meeting in this hotel as I need 50 persons of gathering hall so based on this I want to do meeting in conference hall and dining area. Moreover, I need spacious hall because all of individuals have presentation as I want one spare place of conference area where everyone can easily stand and speak their presentation easily.
So, I will need professional management staff which is very friendly and good looks as they shows best maintenance in meeting. Furthermore, make sure all the floor carpets, utensils, floor each and everything will become tidy. In addition, in the food menu I want to be Indian cuisines items mostly and add some south Indian food items. I need comfortable inner ambience of hotel so these are my requirements which I will need in meeting.
I want more parking space because all people can easily park their vehicles. Additionally, I want best Wi fi connection in conference area because everyone need internet connection and at the last all of 50 members are vegetarian so make sure all the food items is vegetarian and scrumptious in taste and waiting time at reception become reduce when the members will enter in the hotel.
Thank you so much for understanding and considerations. I look forward your response soon.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5
You have addressed all three bullet points: providing event details, mentioning positive aspects, and suggesting improvements. However, the tone is inconsistent and often sounds like a list of demands rather than a professional letter. The prompt asks you to write about an event you 'recently helped organise', but your language ('I want to do meeting', 'I will need') suggests the event has not yet occurred. This confusion regarding the timeline affects the clarity of the task response. To improve, ensure your tense usage reflects that the event has already taken place, and adopt a more polite, formal tone suitable for business correspondence.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The letter is organised into paragraphs, which helps the reader follow the structure. However, the logical flow within paragraphs is often disjointed. For example, the transition between discussing the conference hall and the staff requirements is abrupt. While you use some cohesive devices like 'Moreover', 'Furthermore', and 'Additionally', they are used somewhat mechanically. The referencing is occasionally unclear, such as in the sentence 'I need comfortable inner ambience of hotel so these are my requirements', which feels disconnected from the preceding points. Improving the use of linking phrases to connect ideas more naturally would enhance the overall flow.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.5
Your vocabulary is generally adequate for the task, but it lacks the precision and formality required for a professional letter. Phrases like 'good looks' to describe staff and 'each and everything will become tidy' are informal and imprecise. There is also some repetitive use of basic words like 'need' and 'want'. To reach a higher band, try to incorporate more sophisticated collocations and professional terminology, such as 'accommodate', 'amenities', 'professionalism', or 'sanitation'. The current range is sufficient to convey meaning, but it does not demonstrate the flexibility expected at higher levels.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0
There are frequent grammatical errors throughout the text that occasionally impede readability. Issues include subject-verb agreement ('as they shows'), incorrect tense usage ('I am writing... about my company supervisor held annual meeting'), and awkward sentence construction ('waiting time at reception become reduce'). You rely mostly on simple sentence structures, and attempts at more complex sentences often contain errors. To improve, focus on mastering basic sentence patterns and ensuring consistent verb tenses. Proofreading for common errors like missing articles ('the' hotel) and pluralisation will also help improve your accuracy significantly.
