I liked most about the hotel is their environment as well as company's opportunities which we discussed in our event. Mostly people are unfamiliar to our company because company is new.

We would like to inform you that we missed some main thoughts to discussed in an event, which we would like to improved. We described the comapny's staff behaviours because some people have a fair to interact with the company staff like manager, collegues or even from boss. Because they believe that they are rude and their behaviour did not allow to improve their skills in their related department.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5

The letter addresses all three bullet points, but the development of ideas is inconsistent. While you mention the event and the hotel environment, the section regarding 'areas for improvement' is confusing. You discuss staff behavior and employee fears, which seems unrelated to the hotel's service or facilities, making the purpose of the feedback unclear. To improve, ensure that your suggestions for improvement are directly related to the hotel's management, such as catering, room facilities, or event coordination, rather than general workplace dynamics. The tone is generally appropriate for a formal letter, but the lack of clarity in the final section limits the effectiveness of the communication.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5

The letter follows a basic structure, but the progression of ideas is often disjointed. Transitions between sentences are frequently missing or misused, such as the abrupt shift from discussing the hotel environment to company staff behavior. Paragraphing is not effectively utilized; the letter would benefit from distinct paragraphs for each bullet point to improve readability. Additionally, some sentences are difficult to follow due to grammatical errors, which disrupts the flow of information. Using clearer cohesive devices like 'Furthermore,' 'In addition,' or 'Regarding the service' would help guide the reader through your points more logically.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.0

The vocabulary is somewhat limited and repetitive. You rely on basic phrasing, and there are several instances of incorrect word choice or awkward collocations, such as 'missed some main thoughts to discussed' and 'have a fair to interact'. These errors occasionally impede the clarity of your message. To reach a higher band, you should aim to use more precise vocabulary related to event management and professional feedback. For example, instead of 'liked most', you could use 'particularly impressed by'. Expanding your range of descriptive adjectives and professional terminology will help convey your ideas more effectively.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0

There are frequent grammatical errors throughout the text, including issues with verb tense consistency ('which our company organise', 'we would like to improved') and sentence structure. Many sentences are fragmented or contain awkward phrasing that makes them difficult to parse. While you attempt some complex structures, they are often inaccurate, which leads to a lack of control over grammar. To improve, focus on mastering basic sentence construction, ensuring subject-verb agreement, and using correct verb forms. Proofreading for common errors like missing articles or incorrect prepositions will also significantly improve the accuracy of your writing.
