Dear manager.
I am writing this letter to inform you about the last week we booked your hotel for the Artificial intelligence event.
The event is about the increasing demand of artificial intelligence in every sector, As result over company will also use AI for some of its operations such as reading work-orders, accounting and other activities.
Our staff also embrace your hotel. Most of the employees like the infrastucture of the hotel. The fountain near the front was incredibly beautiful. Additionally, the taste of the refreshments was also good.
However, there were some issue that the staff did not liked that much i think some improvement should be made. The waiting time and staff behaviour between the meals was too much may be you should hire more people and trained them with high skills and it will improve the reputation.
I hope you will focous on this and we will book your hotel again.
thank you

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
The letter covers all three bullet points: the event details, positive aspects of the hotel, and areas for improvement. However, the development of these ideas is somewhat limited. For instance, the description of the event is a bit vague, and the suggestions for improvement are expressed in a slightly repetitive manner. While the purpose of the letter is clear, the tone is occasionally inconsistent with a formal business letter (e.g., 'Dear manager' instead of 'Dear Manager' or 'Dear Sir/Madam'). To reach a higher band, you should expand on your ideas with more specific details and ensure the tone remains consistently professional throughout.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The letter is organized into logical paragraphs, which helps the reader follow the structure. You use some basic cohesive devices such as 'Additionally' and 'However' to transition between ideas. However, the flow is sometimes hindered by awkward phrasing and sentence construction, such as 'As result over company will also use AI'. The use of referencing is occasionally unclear, and the overall progression of ideas could be smoother. Improving your use of linking words and ensuring that each paragraph has a clear, unified focus will help improve the coherence of your writing.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.5
You demonstrate an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, using words like 'infrastructure', 'refreshments', and 'reputation'. However, there are several instances of word choice errors and awkward collocations, such as 'staff did not liked that much' and 'trained them with high skills'. Some spelling errors, such as 'infrastucture' and 'focous', also occur. While these do not prevent the reader from understanding your message, they do limit the precision of your writing. Expanding your vocabulary to include more precise business-related collocations would be beneficial.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
The response contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. There are frequent grammatical errors, particularly with verb tenses and subject-verb agreement, such as 'the staff did not liked' and 'the event is about'. Punctuation is also inconsistent, notably in the opening salutation and the lack of proper capitalization in some sentences. While the meaning is generally clear, these persistent errors indicate a need for more careful proofreading and a better grasp of basic grammatical rules. Focusing on sentence structure and tense consistency will help improve your accuracy.
