You recently helped your company organise an event at a hotel. Write a letter to the hotel manager. In your letter:

– Provide details about the event
– Mention what you particularly liked about the hotel
– Suggest areas for improvement.

You do NOT need to write any addresses.

Begin your letter as follows:
Dear Sir / Madam,

Student answer (Band 7.5)

Dear Mr. Paul,

I am writing this letter to formally provide my feedback on the recent event held in your company by our firm.

The event took place on August 17, 2026 (on Saturday) at Recreation hall in your hotel. It was a business meeting held for about 250 people at around 3:30PM.

Although it was a huge gathering, all of us were highly impressed with the overall arrangement. It was definitely not overly congested, rather the seating arrangement was done quite appropriately. Additionally, our staff really enjoyed the meals served during the meeting, especially the breakfast.

While, it allowed us to conduct the meeting quite smoothly, I would really appreciate it, if in future the meeting can be equipped with microphones. It will allow all the attendees to hear without any interruption, as large crowd often lead to higher noise level; therefore, making it challenging to listen mainly for the people sitting at the back.
