Actually last week my company was organise the party in the hall of your hotel. There were approximately 30 people invited and all the arrangements were done my your management.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 7.0
The letter covers all three bullet points: the event details are provided, the positive aspects are mentioned, and a specific area for improvement is suggested. The tone is generally appropriate for a formal letter, although the closing 'Your faithfully' contains a minor error. The ideas are relevant and clearly presented, fulfilling the requirements of the task effectively. To reach a higher band, the development of ideas could be slightly more detailed, particularly regarding the specific nature of the event or the impact of the lighting issue.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The letter is logically organized into clear paragraphs, each addressing a specific part of the prompt. The progression of ideas is easy to follow. However, the use of cohesive devices is somewhat limited and occasionally mechanical. For example, the transition 'Although, we enjoyed a lot but...' is grammatically awkward and redundant. Improving the variety of linking words and ensuring smoother transitions between sentences would enhance the flow and coherence of the writing.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.0
The vocabulary is adequate for the task, allowing the writer to communicate their message clearly. There are some attempts at more specific vocabulary, such as 'arrangements' and 'beneficial'. However, there are instances of imprecise word choice, such as 'give you feed back' (feedback is usually one word) and 'booked the mall' (likely meaning 'hall'). The range is sufficient for the task but lacks the flexibility and precision required for higher bands.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
The response contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. There are several grammatical errors, such as 'my company was organise' (should be 'organized'), 'done my your management' (should be 'by'), and 'Each and every services that we get' (should be 'service that we received'). Additionally, there are punctuation issues, such as the lack of a comma after 'Dear Sir/ Madam'. While these errors do not impede communication, they occur frequently enough to limit the score.
