I am writing to formally inform about a special event of hotel. The event is about traditional items which was used in current business to manufacture designer clothes. This event was held 23 June on royal plaza hotel.
The main reason why this place is appropriate is interior desgin and large sitting area along with large garden . Which makes them efficient to oraginse this event.
I would appreciate it if you could extend their dining area as well as kitchen to prepare large amount of food conveniently for a number of customers. I trust this matter will be resolved promptly .
Thanks you for your attention, I expect a response within time regarding this few changes in this hotel

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0
The response fails to meet the minimum word count requirement of 150 words, which significantly impacts the development of the required points. While you addressed the three bullet points—providing event details, mentioning positive aspects, and suggesting improvements—the content is underdeveloped. For instance, the description of the event is vague, and the suggestions for improvement lack the necessary detail to be fully convincing. To improve, you must expand on your ideas by providing more specific examples and context, ensuring the letter reaches the required length to demonstrate your ability to communicate effectively in a professional setting.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5
The letter is organized into paragraphs, which is a positive step. However, the logical flow between sentences is sometimes disjointed. For example, the transition between the event description and the positive aspects of the hotel is abrupt. The use of cohesive devices is limited and occasionally inaccurate, such as the sentence fragment starting with 'Which makes them efficient...'. To improve, focus on using a wider range of linking words (e.g., 'furthermore', 'consequently', 'in addition') to connect your ideas more smoothly and ensure that each paragraph has a clear, unified focus.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.0
The vocabulary used is generally basic and sometimes imprecise. There are several errors in word choice and spelling, such as 'desgin' instead of 'design' and 'oraginse' instead of 'organise'. Phrases like 'traditional items which was used in current business' are awkward and lack the professional tone expected in a formal letter. To reach a higher band, you should aim to use more precise vocabulary related to event management and hospitality, and pay closer attention to spelling and standard collocations.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0
The response contains frequent grammatical errors that occasionally impede clarity. There are issues with subject-verb agreement (e.g., 'items which was used') and article usage (e.g., 'on royal plaza hotel'). Sentence structures are mostly simple, and there is a lack of complex sentence forms. The punctuation is also inconsistent, particularly with the placement of periods and the use of sentence fragments. To improve, focus on mastering basic sentence construction, ensuring correct verb tenses, and practicing the use of complex sentences to add variety to your writing.
