You recently helped your company organise an event at a hotel. Write a letter to the hotel manager. In your letter:

– Provide details about the event
– Mention what you particularly liked about the hotel
– Suggest areas for improvement.

Student answer (Band 6.5)

Dear sir,

I am letting you know about the details of the event , the company organised a retirement party at your Regis hotel on 5 September the day was Tuesday . I think the event was for 40 people. The food was pre-order.

Moreover, there are several things that i liked about your hotel but one thing is atmosphere. I really like the quiet surroundings as well as the most great thing is your private rooms for parties and as well as for meetings.

I also have some suggestions everything is almost amazing but one main thing is the front desk area needs improvement the desks are old as well as the couches of the front desk which looks ugly because the first impression is the last impression. The ground floor washrooms are in detrimental condition you should check and start renovation for restrooms.
