Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
You cover the three requested points: you identify a food event, describe the hotel’s service, interior and rooftop pool, and suggest improving restaurant food service. These details are relevant, but they are brief and not equally developed; for example, the event is described mainly through the chefs and guests, while the improvement suggestion gives no specific problem or practical recommendation. The response is also 27 words below the required minimum, which limits how fully you can explain your experience. The opening is not fully aligned with the requested “Dear Sir / Madam,” and the letter would benefit from a more complete, appropriately formal closing. Add detail about the event and explain your suggestion to address the task more fully.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The letter has a recognisable overall arrangement: an opening, a paragraph about the event, a paragraph on what you liked, and a final suggestion. Sequencing words such as “firstly” and “secondly” help signal the topics. However, the progression is somewhat mechanical, and “Although, everything was perfect but” combines two contrasting linkers awkwardly. The opening sentence about learning to handle the event ends abruptly, interrupting the flow, and “here” in the improvement paragraph is not a clear reference. Use complete sentences, connect ideas more naturally, and organise the event details and hotel feedback into clearly developed paragraphs.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You use some relevant vocabulary for the situation, including “multi cuisine event,” “luxurious interior,” “infinity swimming pool,” and “participants.” This gives the reader a basic picture of the occasion and the hotel. However, the range is limited, and several word-choice, collocation, and spelling errors reduce precision, such as “famous personality,” “food service,” “terace,” and “mesmorizing.” Some expressions are also vague, including “everything was perfect,” which does not explain what worked well. Aim for accurate, natural phrases and more specific descriptions of the event and the service. Proofreading spelling and choosing precise collocations will make your message clearer and more professional.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple sentences and a few longer structures, such as “Although, everything was perfect but here my suggestion…” and “in which many famous chef were there.” However, control is inconsistent, and errors in sentence structure, agreement, articles, and verb forms occur throughout. Examples include “as an coordinator,” “many famous chef were there,” and “there are also some famous personality here,” where the article, plural, or tense does not fit. The opening also contains a sentence fragment: “I learned how to handle the v”. Use complete sentences and check subject–verb agreement, articles, and consistent past-tense narration. More accurate control of these basic patterns would make your meaning easier to follow.
