However, I am not impressed with seating arrangment as the way of chairs organised was not suitable to our team. We need one seprate big dinning table where we can settle 50 people of team to have christmas dinner together instead of sitting distance away. Therefore, I believe that you will take the necessary steps to improve my concern about event. Please let me know before christmas so that I could make further steps.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
You identify the occasion as a Christmas event and communicate a clear preference for a shared dining arrangement for 50 colleagues. You also mention positive features—“pleasant atmosphere” and food service—and request that the hotel address the seating concern. However, the task is only partly covered: the event details are sparse, and the improvement request is not fully clear about what arrangement you want the hotel to provide. The response is also 32 words below the required minimum, which limits how fully you can develop the details and explain your suggestions. Add the event date or purpose, describe the seating problem more precisely, and explain any other practical improvement you would like.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The letter follows a generally understandable order: you introduce the event, describe what you liked, raise a concern, and close with a request. Linking words such as “However” and “Therefore” help signal the shift from praise to criticism. At times, though, the progression is compressed, and the relationship between the seating problem and the requested solution is difficult to follow, especially in “instead of sitting distance away.” The letter is presented as one continuous paragraph, so the different purposes are not visually separated. Use short paragraphs for the event and positive feedback, the improvement request, and the closing; make each transition and reference explicit.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You use relevant vocabulary for the situation, including “event,” “hotel,” “seating arrangement,” and “team,” and the reader can understand your main concern. There are, however, several spelling errors and unnatural word combinations that reduce precision, such as “loaction,” “seprate,” and “dinning table.” Phrases including “event of christmas” and “I am fascinated about” are not natural choices for a formal letter. Aim for accurate, conventional collocations and check spelling carefully. For example, you could refer to a “company Christmas dinner,” say you “appreciated the welcoming atmosphere,” and request “one large table seating 50 people.”
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5
You attempt a range of sentence forms, including a reasoned request with “so that” and a contrast introduced by “However.” Most of the message remains understandable, but some grammatical choices make sentences awkward or unclear. In “the way of chairs organised was not suitable,” the clause needs a clear subject and verb construction, such as “the way the chairs were arranged was unsuitable.” The sentence beginning “We need one separate big dining table” also needs more natural article and modifier order. Check sentence structure, articles, and the use of past or present forms consistently. More accurate control of these patterns would make your request easier to follow.
