Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
You address all three requested points: you identify the occasion as an annual dinner for Genius Institute Lahore, give the date and attendance, praise the hall, food and staff, and describe several problems. The positive and negative details are relevant, so the reader can understand the purpose of the letter. However, some points are unclear or not fully developed—for example, “annual dinner for your program” does not clearly explain the event, and the comments about the sound system and entrance arrangements are difficult to interpret. A clearer explanation of the event and a more specific, polite request for improvements would make the message more complete and effective.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.0
The letter includes a greeting, a sign-off and a broadly sensible movement from event details to praise and then complaints. However, the information is presented as one long, crowded sequence, with abrupt shifts between topics and little paragraphing. Several ideas run together, such as the comments about food quality, presentation and biryani, while “There was no any plants decoration…” is difficult to connect to the preceding points. Use separate paragraphs for the event, what you appreciated, and suggested improvements. Clear sentence boundaries and linking phrases such as “In addition” or “However” would help the reader follow the progression without making the letter feel like a list.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You attempt vocabulary relevant to a formal complaint, including “cooperative,” “polite,” “parking space,” “sound system” and “decoration.” These choices show that you can communicate the main topics, but spelling errors and inaccurate word combinations are noticeable and sometimes make the meaning harder to follow. Examples include “amzing,” “quailty,” “peresnting,” “briyani” and “enterance arranagements”; “the food quality is really love it” also uses an unsuitable phrase. Build accuracy with common collocations such as “the food was of good quality,” “the air conditioning was not working,” and “the parking area was too small.” Proofreading spelling would make your vocabulary more reliable.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5
You communicate several basic facts through simple statements, but sentence structure and control are uneven. The opening, “Recently helped your company organise an event at a hotel,” is a fragment, and “The dinner agranage for 50 students and 20 teachers” lacks a clear verb. There are also problems with articles, agreement and tense, as in “the food was cold they did not perheat the food” and “we are feeling hot and sweating.” Punctuation and capitalisation are inconsistent, making some sentences run together. Practise forming complete sentences with a clear subject and verb, and use past-tense forms consistently to describe the event. A few accurate compound sentences would also help express the problems more clearly.
