Dear Sir/Madam,

I am writing this letter because I want to inform you that recently our company organised the event which was the successful event. I was also participent of that function and I served my responsibilities which helpful for teh company.

Firstly in this event, organization launch the new product and they display their items in front of audiance, also they distribute their prototyles in the public.

The hotel for the event, that was the best choice and may be in the future company will select the same hotel because there was no parking issue and eassy way to find the location to the event hall.

One thing which I want mention is that for the display our product was not enough good.

Kind regards,

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.0

You identify the event as a company product launch and mention that products were displayed and prototypes distributed. You also give positive points about the hotel—parking and the ease of finding the event hall—and attempt to suggest an improvement to the product display. However, the letter only minimally fulfils the task: the event details are brief, the hotel praise is not developed, and “our product was not enough good” does not clearly explain what should be improved at the hotel. The response also contains 126 words, below the required 150, so there is not enough detail to address the three points fully. Add specific information about the event and a clear, practical hotel-related suggestion, such as improving display equipment or room layout.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0

The letter has a recognisable sequence: an opening, event details, positive comments about the hotel, and a final improvement point. Paragraph breaks help distinguish these topics, and “Firstly” signals the start of the event description. However, progression is limited, and the links between ideas are sometimes awkward: “Firstly in this event” does not lead smoothly into the product-launch details, while “The hotel for the event, that was the best choice” interrupts the flow. The final point is also unclear and feels disconnected from the hotel feedback. Use straightforward transitions such as “Regarding the venue” and “One area the hotel could improve is…” and ensure each paragraph develops one clear point.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use some task-relevant vocabulary, including “organised the event,” “launch the new product,” “parking issue,” and “location.” This gives the reader a basic understanding of the occasion and venue. However, the range is limited, and several spelling and word-choice errors make parts difficult to interpret, such as “participent,” “audiance,” “prototyles,” and “eassy.” Some expressions are also unnatural or imprecise: “served my responsibilities” and “not enough good” do not communicate your meaning clearly. Build a more accurate set of phrases for describing events and facilities, and check spelling carefully. For example, you could refer to “attendees,” “product samples,” and “the display arrangements” to make the details clearer and more appropriate for a formal letter.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and longer sentence forms, and the reader can generally follow the main message. However, the range is limited, and errors occur frequently in sentence construction, articles, and verb patterns. For example, “organised the event which was the successful event” needs a more accurate clause structure, while “I want mention” is missing “to.” In “The hotel for the event, that was the best choice,” the clause is incorrectly punctuated and structured. The sentence about the display, “One thing which I want mention is that for the display our product was not enough good,” is also difficult to follow. Practise building clear sentences with accurate articles and verb forms, and use full stops to separate ideas when a sentence becomes difficult to control.
