Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5

You address the main purposes of the letter: you describe the event and give positive comments about the hotel, including the food, sound system, decorations and staff. You also identify a specific area for improvement: the hotel was slow to respond before the meeting and did not answer your calls. These details make the response relevant, but several points are difficult to understand or remain general, such as “events in every management is a such a unique.” The complaint could be explained more clearly, and the event itself would benefit from a few precise details, such as its purpose or who attended. A clearer, more consistently formal letter style would also help you fulfil the task more effectively.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.5

The response follows a broadly sensible order: it begins with thanks, describes positive features of the event and hotel, then turns to a complaint. This gives the reader a basic sense of the letter’s purpose. However, ideas are crowded into one paragraph, and the repeated use of “and” and “event” makes the progression feel list-like rather than smoothly connected. Some links are unclear, for example, “but i gave disappeared a one think,” which makes the transition to the criticism hard to follow. Separate the praise and the improvement suggestion into paragraphs, and use clear transitions such as “In addition” and “However.” This would make the organisation easier to follow.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use some relevant vocabulary for a hotel event, including “sound system,” “staff,” “flowers,” “lights” and “delicious.” These words help communicate what you appreciated. However, the range is limited and several word choices or combinations are unnatural, which sometimes makes the meaning difficult to understand. For instance, “lights are like a moon and star bright” and “flowers was sprites a freshness” do not express the intended praise clearly. “Yummy” is also informal for a letter to a hotel manager. Aim for precise, natural phrases such as “the lighting was attractive,” “the flowers made the hall feel fresh,” and “the meal was excellent.” Check spelling and word forms as well.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5

You attempt to communicate several connected ideas, but sentence structures are mostly simple, and errors occur frequently enough to make parts of the letter difficult to follow. Examples include “all members are enjoyed the event,” “every peoples were enjoying,” and “your staffs proveded a every service,” where verb forms, agreement and article use are not controlled. Some sentences also lack a clear grammatical structure, such as “in hotel are decorated was different flowers and lights.” Practise building accurate subject–verb sentences first, then combine related ideas with simple clauses. For example: “The staff provided excellent service, and the hall was decorated with flowers and lights.” More reliable control of basic forms would improve clarity.
