Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5

You cover the three requested points: you describe preparations for an event, identify the hall’s size and staff support as positives, and suggest providing more cups and plates and repairing the kitchen tap. These details are relevant, but the letter’s purpose is not always clear. The opening says you arranged the event, while the next paragraph focuses on duties you completed, rather than clearly explaining the event itself—for example, its occasion or what took place. Some comments, such as being “elated” to complete responsibilities, also distract from the requested feedback to the manager. Develop the event details and explain more precisely how the suggested improvements affected the event; this would make the response more complete and focused.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.5

The letter has a clear overall arrangement: it moves from the event and preparations to what you liked, then to suggestions, with separate paragraphs for each purpose. Sequencing words such as “Firstly,” “Secondly,” and “Also” help readers follow the list of tasks and recommendations. This gives the response a coherent progression. However, some connections are mechanical or unclear: “Not only this” does not lead into a balanced construction, and “Morever” introduces staff support without clearly linking it to the hall. The opening paragraph also shifts from arranging an event to describing cleaning duties. Use more natural transitions and make the relationship between each detail and the event explicit to strengthen the flow.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use some vocabulary relevant to the situation, including “organised,” “responsibilities,” “washrooms,” “cameras,” and “arrangement,” and the reader can generally understand your intended meaning. However, spelling errors and inaccurate word choices are noticeable and sometimes make the message harder to interpret. Examples include “writting,” “Vocation,” “garabge,” “satisfection,” and “suggetion.” Some phrases are also unnatural, such as “the most thing I liked” and “on write time.” Aim for accurate, conventional expressions for a formal letter and check spelling carefully. A more precise range of event-related vocabulary would also help you describe the occasion and your feedback clearly.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple sentences and longer structures, including “Not only this, i checked all the cameras…” and a recommendation joined with “therefore.” This shows some willingness to vary sentence forms, but control is inconsistent, and errors occur frequently enough to affect clarity. For example, “I am elated to completed” needs a consistent verb form, while “the others staff” and “you given to me” have problems with number and verb construction. In “these were now proper working,” the clause and adverb form are not controlled. Review verb patterns, articles, plurals, and sentence boundaries, and use capital letters consistently. Building accurate simple sentences first will make your longer sentences easier to follow.
