Student answer (Band 6.0)
It is irrefutable to say that healthy body has a healthy mind. There is ongoing debate about fruits and vegetables where some indiviuals claim that government should make them cheaper. However, others claim that government should put tax on unhealthy food. I firmly beleive that both the norms are correct and both can be initiated to make society eat and stay healthy. This essay will discuss and enlight both the views in the forthcoming paragraphs.
To begin with, fruits and vegetables are rich in multiple vitamins that are essential for a human body. Additionally, there are times in a year when these fruits get expensive as per their seasonal growth and sale. For example: orange is rich in Vitamin C that is good for skin but are only saled at lower cost in winters whereas apples contain Vitamin A that is beneficial for good eyesight and is extremely demanding during summers. Nevertheless, these items in off season are costly to purchase.Simulatneously, vegetables have same trend. As a result, affluent people can easily afford them no matter any season but others being in poverty line can't. Thus, government should make them cheaper and easily accesible for everyone to consume as their nutrients could help people stay healthy and away from consuming unexcessive fats unlike junk.
On the other hand, unhealthy food is less expensive and easily accessible to everyone which pose a major risk threat to human body.In addition to this, consumption of unhelathy food leads to store bad fat in body that can cause many diseases. To illustrate: a burger costs 30 rupees only while fruits and vegetable cost 200 rupees per kg which marks big difference and in order to save money, people chose to eat burger than fruits. Hence, its daily consumption embarks numerous diseases like obesity, heartattack and many respiratory issues. Furthermore, government should decline the cost difference and incline tax on these items so that people find it equally money demanding and priortise their health more than the cost.
To conclude, government should priortise helathy society's and take necessary steps to maintain good health. They should balance the cost of both fruits and vegetables and unhealthy food. This will help people to make and chose better options to stay healthy, active and fit rather than unhealthy.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.5
You address both proposed measures and state a clear position: “both the norms are correct” and both can be introduced. The two body paragraphs explain how seasonal prices can limit access to produce and how cheap fast food may encourage unhealthy choices; the burger-versus-produce comparison is a relevant example. This covers the task well, but the discussion is not equally developed: the first paragraph focuses mainly on seasonal prices and nutrient claims, while the second gives more detail about taxation’s health rationale. The examples about oranges and apples are also somewhat unclear and do not fully establish how government pricing would work. To strengthen the response, explain the practical effect of each policy and develop why combining them is preferable, rather than relying on broad claims about health.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.5
The response has a clear overall structure: an introduction, one paragraph for each view, and a conclusion. Transitions such as “To begin with,” “On the other hand,” and “To conclude” make the progression easy to follow, and the central position is repeated at the end. This is a coherent arrangement, though some linking is mechanical and connections within paragraphs are occasionally unclear. For example, “Nevertheless” introduces the point about off-season prices, but the relationship to the preceding seasonal examples could be made more explicit. The conclusion says the government should “balance the cost” of both categories, which is less precise than the earlier proposal to make produce cheaper and tax unhealthy food. Use clearer references and more specific links between cause, example, and policy to make the argument flow more naturally.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You use a range of topic-related vocabulary, including “essential,” “consumption,” “affluent,” “nutrients,” and “prioritise,” which helps communicate the main ideas. However, several inaccurate word choices, collocations, and spelling errors make the expression less natural and sometimes obscure meaning. Examples include “saled at lower cost,” “unexcessive fats,” “marks big difference,” and “embarks numerous diseases”; “respiratory issues” is also not clearly connected to the argument. Spelling slips such as “indiviuals,” “beleive,” and “accesible” further reduce control. Aim for precise, familiar collocations rather than forcing formal-sounding phrases, and proofread spelling. This would make your vocabulary more flexible and accurate while preserving the relevant range already shown.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5
You attempt both simple and complex sentence forms, including clauses introduced by “where,” “that,” and “which,” and the overall meaning is generally understandable. However, some errors in sentence structure, agreement, articles, and punctuation remain. For instance, “healthy body has a healthy mind” needs an article, and “unhealthy food … which pose” has a subject–verb agreement problem. In “orange is rich in Vitamin C … but are only,” the subject and verb do not agree, while “people chose to eat” shifts tense in a general statement. Several sentences also run together, as in “sale. For example” and “costly to purchase.Simulatneously.” Review agreement and articles, keep general claims in the present tense, and separate sentences with appropriate punctuation. More consistently controlled complex sentences would improve accuracy.
