IELTS Writing Task 2 question

Cosmetic surgery has become increasingly common in many parts of the world. Some people choose these procedures to change their appearance, while others have them for medical reasons.

What is the reason for their popularity nowadays?

Do you think this is a positive or a negative development?

Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your own knowledge or experience.

Student answer (Band 5.0)

Nowadays, Cometic surgery are common and has become increasing the figure in the whole world. Some people prefer used these surgery for change their appeances and see more beautiful, while other people use these treatment for their medical purposes. I think that is a a negative development, because these side effects are dangerous for human health and also people should to eat proper diet rather then use cometic treatment.

The first reason is that why i think is a negative development is that cometic surgery is a not only way to improve their apperances and see beautiful. For example, many studies illustrate that if people ate proper diiet and use a nature thing for improve their level of beautiful, then they do not need to any treatment. Doctors recommended that drink water at least 4-litter in every day and used nature fruits in his diets such apply, banana etc. It more better then this surgery. The is a easy and quickly ways for maintain their beauty and increase their appearance.

Furthermore, the second main is that why i think is a negative development is that cosmetic surgery have many bad effects in the people health. that is why,doctors always recommended their medical patients use any others way of treatment, which do not have any side effects by paitent health. Now this time, many alter treatment easly available in many parts of worlds instead the cosmetic surgery and do not prefer use this surgery until doctors recommended you. As a results, this development have many negative effects impact in the human is a main reason why i befieve, it is a not good thing.
