Student answer (Band 6.0)
Its believed by many that authorities should reestablished historical buildings like museum , even though its expensive rather tan replace with new modern buildings. This essay will highlight the both views in upcoming paragraphs and according to me its should be safe because its represent identity of nation.
Firstly, historical buildings represent the identity and history of nation So government should restored because it can preserve history in other words, with help of old buildings, new generation can know about their nations sacrifice which they faced in past .For Example ,in India have a lot of museum which are rebuild only to preserve their history and identity.
On the other hand, some believe that government should establish new buildings because these are un used and cover plenty of space. They should build new buildings due to lack of space and which helpful for new generations future. For instance, nowadays many people are living in urban areas due to lot of facilities but they have no place to live due to population if government replace these buildings with flats and apartments can help people to find a place to live .
In conclusion, although there are enormous benefits of replacing old buildings with modern one, its can put harmful impact upon country history because young generation have no link with their history .In my opinion, government should spend money on these buildings because due to this buildings any nation can connect strong connection between nation and can earn handsome money from tourisms which can help to enhance economical level of nation.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.5
The response addresses both sides of the argument and provides a clear personal opinion. The ideas are relevant, such as the cultural value of historical buildings versus the practical need for urban housing. However, the development of these ideas is somewhat limited. For instance, the argument regarding tourism and economic benefits in the conclusion is introduced late and could have been integrated into the body paragraphs for better support. The response covers all parts of the prompt, but the depth of analysis is restricted by the brevity of the arguments provided.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.5
The essay is organized into logical paragraphs, with a clear introduction, two body paragraphs, and a conclusion. Cohesive devices are used, such as 'Firstly', 'On the other hand', and 'In conclusion', which help guide the reader. However, the use of these devices is sometimes mechanical or slightly awkward, such as 'according to me its should be safe'. Additionally, referencing is occasionally unclear, and the flow between sentences within paragraphs could be smoother. Paragraphing is used appropriately to separate the different viewpoints.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.0
The vocabulary is adequate for the task but lacks range and precision. There are several instances of word-choice errors and awkward collocations, such as 'reestablished historical buildings' instead of 'restored' or 'preserved', and 'handsome money' which is informal. The student attempts to use some topic-specific vocabulary like 'urban areas' and 'economical level', but the overall range is limited. Spelling errors, such as 'tan' instead of 'than' and 'un used', also occur, though they do not significantly impede communication.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors throughout. Common issues include subject-verb agreement ('its represent', 'buildings... is'), missing articles ('history of nation'), and incorrect verb forms ('government should restored'). Punctuation is also inconsistent, particularly with spacing around commas and periods. While the meaning is generally clear, the high frequency of errors in basic grammar prevents the response from reaching a higher band score.
