Student answer (Band 6.0)
It is thought by some that primitive buildings ought to be recontructed, despite that it could be costly, others believe that authorities must replace with newer ones. Although replacing the ancient artitechtures with new buildings could be beneficial for public, this essay believes that restoring the old buildings could significantly important for nations economy even if it takes a lot of money to retore.
On the one hand, by replacing the older buildings with new infrastructures such as Center malls and Bus station could be beneficial for the general public. This is because primitive buildings are commonly in the middle of cities and occupies vast area. If governments revamp older ones with newer, it will cetainly bring advantage of using new facilities for people. For example, in india some old castles which were on the verge of fall down replaced with hotels and shopping malls. However, this essay believe old building could be considerabily profitable, they should be repaired.
On the other hand, old buildings could become tourist spots which could be advantageous for country economy. This is say, many naions economy is depended on the tourism, therefore spending money on restoring older building can bring profit in the future. For instance, in Egypt a number of people visit Egypt every year to see the pyramids and old vallies where ancient people were lived, this brings to the country stablibity in their economy. Hence, I feel it would be sophisticate decision to restore the old buildings.
In concluion, whereas relacement of older infrastructures could be useful for common people, I believe government should restruct as it could be constructive for nations economy.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
The response addresses both sides of the argument and provides a clear personal position. However, the development of ideas is somewhat limited. While you mention economic benefits, the explanation remains superficial. For instance, the example of Indian castles is relevant but lacks depth, and the connection between ancient buildings and economic stability is asserted rather than fully explained. To reach a higher band, ensure that each point is supported by more detailed reasoning or specific evidence. The position is consistent, but the overall argument could be more persuasively developed to fully meet the requirements of a higher band.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The essay is organized into logical paragraphs, each with a clear focus. You use some cohesive devices such as 'On the one hand,' 'On the other hand,' and 'In conclusion' to signal the structure. However, the flow between sentences is sometimes mechanical, and there are instances where referencing is unclear, such as 'This is say' or 'This is because.' The logical progression is generally maintained, but the transitions between ideas could be smoother and more varied to improve the overall readability and coherence of the text.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.5
The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task, but there are frequent errors in word choice and spelling, such as 'recontructed' (reconstructed), 'artitechtures' (architecture), 'cetainly' (certainly), and 'sophisticate' (sophisticated). You attempt to use some topic-specific vocabulary like 'infrastructures' and 'revamp,' but the control is inconsistent. To improve, focus on accurate spelling and using words in their correct grammatical form. Expanding your range of collocations would also help convey your ideas with more precision and naturalness.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors that occasionally impede clarity. Examples include 'primitive buildings are commonly in the middle of cities and occupies vast area' (subject-verb agreement) and 'where ancient people were lived' (passive voice error). Punctuation is also inconsistent, particularly with comma usage. While the meaning is generally clear, the high frequency of errors in basic grammar and sentence construction prevents the essay from reaching a higher band. Focusing on subject-verb agreement and verb tense consistency is essential.
