There is an ongoing debete about whether old building should be restored and preserved or replaced with mordren structures, while both view have their own merits .I believe that his torically significant buildings should be proected whenever possible.

On the one hand, old buildings show history of city or country as well as they help preserve traditions and culture. Secondly the to many old building have beautifull desigan as campare to modern building due to this, many these building can attract tourists and bring money to the the local economy.

On the other hand, firstly some of old building have weat structurce and could be dangerous for everyone as well as to pre reparing these building can be more expensive. Moreover, in the new building people can enjoy new factities like better lists, heating, parking and many more, due to this omay new building can y use less electriceny and energy

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0

The response addresses both views and provides a clear personal opinion. However, the essay is significantly under the 250-word minimum requirement, which severely limits the development of ideas. While the main points regarding cultural preservation versus modern efficiency are relevant, they are presented in a very brief, underdeveloped manner. To reach a higher band, you must expand on your arguments with specific examples and more detailed explanations. The current length prevents a full discussion of the topic, resulting in a penalty for task achievement.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5

The essay is organized into paragraphs, which helps the reader follow the structure. You use basic cohesive devices like 'On the one hand' and 'Moreover' to transition between ideas. However, the progression of ideas is somewhat mechanical, and the connection between sentences is occasionally weak due to grammatical errors. The paragraphing is present but the content within the paragraphs is too sparse to demonstrate a sophisticated flow of information. To improve, focus on using a wider variety of linking words and ensuring that each paragraph contains a well-developed central idea.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.0

The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task but lacks the range and precision required for higher bands. There are frequent spelling errors such as 'debete', 'mordren', 'proected', 'desigan', and 'factities'. These errors, combined with repetitive phrasing, limit the effectiveness of your communication. While you attempt to use topic-specific vocabulary like 'historically significant' and 'local economy', the overall lexical control is limited. You should focus on proofreading your work to eliminate basic spelling mistakes and try to incorporate more varied synonyms to avoid repetition.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0

The essay relies mostly on simple sentence structures with frequent grammatical errors that occasionally impede clarity. Examples include 'old building should be restored' (missing plural), 'show history of city' (missing articles), and 'as campare to' (incorrect form). There are also issues with punctuation and word order, such as 'to many old building have beautifull desigan'. While the meaning is generally understandable, the high frequency of errors in basic grammar prevents the use of more complex structures. Focus on mastering subject-verb agreement, article usage, and sentence construction to improve your accuracy.
