Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0

The response addresses both views and provides a clear personal opinion. However, the development of ideas is somewhat limited. While you mention emotional connection and tourism for restoration, and facilities and urban development for new construction, these points could be expanded with more specific examples or deeper analysis. The introduction is slightly repetitive, and the conclusion restates points without adding significant value. To reach a higher band, ensure that each body paragraph fully explores the implications of the arguments rather than just listing them. The position is consistent, but the overall depth of the argument is currently at a mid-level.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.5

The essay is organized into logical paragraphs, and there is a clear progression of ideas. You use cohesive devices such as 'On the one hand', 'In addition', and 'Consequently' to link sentences. However, some transitions feel a bit mechanical or slightly unnatural, such as 'Eventually, economy may obtain few benefits'. Additionally, the referencing is occasionally unclear, and the flow between sentences could be smoother. Paragraphing is used appropriately to separate the different viewpoints, which helps the reader follow your argument. Improving the variety and precision of your linking words will help elevate this score.

Lexical Resource — Band 6.0

You demonstrate an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, using terms like 'renovated', 'heritage structures', and 'sustainable resources'. However, there are several instances of awkward word choice and collocation errors, such as 'making more beautiful memories' (creating lasting memories), 'assist to the people' (assist people), and 'luxiours lifestyle' (luxurious). There are also some spelling errors like 'histroy' and 'greate'. While the vocabulary is sufficient to convey your meaning, the lack of precision and occasional errors prevent a higher score. Focus on learning common collocations to sound more natural.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.0

The essay uses a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. While you attempt complex sentences, there are frequent grammatical errors, particularly with subject-verb agreement (e.g., 'older properties which is renovated', 'it not only provide') and article usage. Punctuation is generally functional, but there are some issues with sentence boundaries and awkward phrasing. The errors do not significantly impede communication, but they are frequent enough to be noticeable. To improve, focus on ensuring that verbs agree with their subjects and practice the correct use of articles and prepositions in complex sentence structures.
