It is often argued by some people that government should spend money to restore the structure of historical building to improve the tourism for better economy of the country. Meanwhile others argued that government should invest to construct new buildings to replace the old ones to utilise the land for housing schemes. this essay will explore both sides of argument until to reach a logical opinion.
on the one hand, the supports of investment in restoration of historical buildings it would encourage the tourists to visit these places. As country can generate revenue with the ticket fee of these old art galleries. Take an Example of brampton major city of canada, tourism department publish a report in 2027, according to that report 80 percent of tourist planned their tour to explore the old town hall art gallery. Thus, the restoration of old building is indeed to boost the economy.
while on the other hand, the advocates of replacing the old building with modern ones. As land for housing schemes in main areas of cities in an major concern now a days. For Instances, the mega City of Russia, in 2025 under the act 56B they demolished the Time Tower standing middle of the city to coup up housing crisis in that area. Hence, housing crisis can not be ignored by the government.
However, I believe that government should invest to preserve some cultural old building to promote the tourism and demolish the uninformative building to reduce the housing crisis in mega cities.
To Sum up, in order to enhance the economy of country from tourism government should maintain the structure of old building and as well as reduce the housing crisis.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
The response addresses both views and provides a clear personal opinion. However, the development of ideas is somewhat limited. While you provide examples, such as the reference to Brampton and the Russian city, these feel slightly forced and lack depth. The argument for restoration focuses primarily on tourism, while the argument for replacement focuses on housing; both are relevant, but the discussion could be more nuanced. The conclusion is a bit repetitive, restating the prompt rather than synthesizing the main points effectively. To reach a higher band, ensure that your supporting arguments are more thoroughly explored and that your personal opinion is integrated more naturally into the body paragraphs.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The essay is organized into clear paragraphs, which helps the reader follow the structure. You use some cohesive devices like 'on the one hand' and 'while on the other hand' to signal shifts in perspective. However, the use of these devices is sometimes mechanical, and there are instances where the flow between sentences is abrupt. For example, the transition between the introduction and the first body paragraph could be smoother. Additionally, some referencing is slightly unclear, such as the phrase 'this essay will explore' which is a bit formulaic. Improving the variety and naturalness of your linking words will help improve the overall flow.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.0
You demonstrate an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, using terms like 'restoration', 'advocates', and 'housing crisis'. However, there are several instances of awkward word choice and collocation errors, such as 'improve the tourism for better economy' (should be 'boost tourism to benefit the economy') and 'uninformative building' (which does not fit the context of historical preservation). There are also minor errors in word form, such as 'the supports of investment' instead of 'supporters'. To improve, focus on learning collocations—words that naturally go together—and ensure you are using precise terminology for the topic of urban planning and heritage.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
The essay uses a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. While the meaning is generally clear, there are frequent grammatical errors throughout the text. Common issues include missing articles ('the government', 'a major concern'), incorrect verb forms ('others argued' instead of 'others argue'), and punctuation errors, such as starting sentences with lowercase letters. There are also issues with subject-verb agreement and sentence fragments, such as 'As land for housing schemes... is an major concern'. These errors are noticeable but do not prevent the reader from understanding your main points. Increasing your control over basic grammar and proofreading for small errors will significantly improve your score.
