Town halls, art gallerus and museums play a vital role in all the cities and countries. Some people believe that these old buildings should be restored. While other contradicts that old museums and galleries should be replaced with the new and modern ones. This essay will discuss both of the opinions to reach to the certain conclusion.

On the one hand, people who considers its important for the government to renovate the old town halls, art museums. To begen with, these old buildings facilitate to represent the culture ethnicity and race of people of the particular area. If higher authorities will put their money towards it, it is going to be the effective way to attract more tourists. And hence, it can support the economy financially. Moreover, revitalizing old buildings will assist the new generations about their culture and history. Furthermore, reshaping the buildings by keeping the true identity of the antique structures will be helpful for local businesses and hotels to earn some good money by giving them the services.

On the other hand, few individuals contend that making new art museums is more beneficial. Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0

The response addresses both sides of the argument and provides a clear personal opinion in the conclusion. However, the development of ideas is somewhat superficial. For instance, the argument regarding the economic benefits of restoration is mentioned but not fully extended with concrete examples. Similarly, the points about modern buildings are quite brief. To reach a higher band, you should aim to provide more specific examples or deeper explanations for each point. The position is consistent throughout, but the overall depth of the discussion is limited, which aligns with the descriptors for Band 6.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.5

The essay is organized into clear paragraphs, and there is a logical progression of ideas. You use some cohesive devices such as 'To begin with', 'Moreover', and 'On the other hand' to link your points. However, some transitions feel a bit mechanical, and there are instances where the flow could be smoother. For example, the sentence 'And hence, it can support the economy financially' starts with a conjunction that feels slightly informal and disconnected from the previous sentence. Overall, the paragraphing is appropriate, and the central ideas are easy to follow.

Lexical Resource — Band 6.0

You demonstrate an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, such as 'revitalizing', 'antique structures', and 'ethnicity'. However, there are several spelling errors ('gallerus', 'begen') and some awkward collocations, such as 'earn some good money' and 'facilitate to represent'. These errors do not impede communication, but they do limit the precision of your writing. To improve, focus on using more academic collocations and ensure you proofread for basic spelling mistakes. The vocabulary is sufficient to convey your meaning but lacks the flexibility and sophistication required for higher bands.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.0

The essay uses a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. While you attempt complex sentences, there are frequent grammatical errors, such as subject-verb agreement issues ('people who considers', 'other contradicts') and incorrect verb forms ('facilitate to represent'). Punctuation is generally functional, but there are some awkward phrasings that distract the reader. The errors are noticeable but do not prevent the reader from understanding your main points. To reach a higher band, you need to increase the frequency of error-free sentences and work on consistent subject-verb agreement.
