Student answer (Band 6.0)
Certain individual think that traditional building like town hall and art galleries should be keep same even its to expensive. While other believe that authority should make new buildings instand of restored old one. My view point is having traditional buildings is great idea. In upcoming paragraphs i will discuss both sides.
First and more most, restored old towns and art galleries help tr learn about history because when young people see this building they get knowledge about history like how the buildings was and which kind of material can older people use for making buildings. Secondly young people can touch with their tradition they do not forget their own culture and having idea about their grandparents life style. For cite a example, in the modern era people start following western culture they forget about their own culture so keeping old building is beneficial for saving old culture. Moreover, nowadays people make their house very simple. However the old building design are eye catching and look rich so with help of this may people stating making their house like old style.
On the other hand, if government do not change old buildings it can we danger because old building are damage easily because now they are not that much strong it is risky to keep them. However if authority repair old building it need lot of amount to repair it which is not that much great to spend huge money on old building because government need that money for development of country such as for making school, hospitals and many more.
To conclude, both side has their own benefits and drawback. However from my perspective restored art galleries , town hall and that kind of other building is great idea.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
The response addresses both sides of the argument and provides a clear personal opinion. However, the development of ideas is somewhat limited. For instance, the argument regarding the danger of old buildings is mentioned but not fully explored with specific evidence. The points about cultural preservation are relevant but could be expanded with more sophisticated reasoning. While the task is addressed, the ideas remain at a fairly general level, and the conclusion is quite brief. To reach a higher band, you should aim to provide more detailed explanations and perhaps a more nuanced exploration of the trade-offs involved in restoration versus modernization.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The essay is organized into logical paragraphs, and there is a clear progression of ideas. You use some cohesive devices such as 'First and more most', 'Secondly', and 'On the other hand'. However, some of these are used incorrectly or sound unnatural, such as 'First and more most' (likely intended as 'First and foremost'). Additionally, the referencing is sometimes unclear, and the transition between sentences can be a bit mechanical. Improving the variety and accuracy of your linking words will help the flow of your writing feel more natural and professional.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.5
The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task, but it lacks the precision and range required for higher bands. There are several instances of word-choice errors, such as 'instand' (instead), 'tr learn' (to learn), and 'not that much great' (not very cost-effective). You rely on basic vocabulary and struggle with collocations, such as 'need lot of amount' instead of 'require significant funding'. To improve, focus on learning topic-specific collocations related to urban planning and heritage conservation, and pay closer attention to spelling and word forms.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
There is a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but the accuracy is inconsistent. You frequently make errors in subject-verb agreement (e.g., 'Certain individual think', 'old building are damage'), article usage, and pluralization. Some sentences are grammatically fragmented or awkward, which occasionally forces the reader to re-read to understand the intended meaning. While you attempt complex structures, the high frequency of basic grammatical errors limits your score. Focusing on mastering basic sentence construction and proofreading for common errors like verb tense and plural forms will significantly improve your clarity.
