Student answer (Band 5.0)
History and its structures plays an imperative role in our country.Whether the people thinks that old architectures for an examples city halls and art galleries should be detroyed as it requires more expense to keep it lively but on the contrary, some people believe that the authoroties should make some changes with creative and modern construction.
Firstly, One of the main constraint of the older architecture is that they provide such an immense feeling and a sense of community to ancestors. In addition to this, people get to know about the sacrifices, strong beliefs towars nation, strong enthusiasm that they had and also, by reading the stories and watching video of that people actually realises what our ancestors, freedom fighteres have done for our nation. Moreover, some sculptures and paiting gives an idea of particular story, character, quality. This must be frr for th audienc who visits art galleries or a museum.
On the other hand, authorities has started to demolish such old building to reconstruct modern architectures and societies. For an instance, some structure which are more than 30 years ago they should be replaced otherwise if it gets demolished, people leaves their life and family in that.
In conclusion, I firmly believe that government should take an action regarding some kind of structures. However, City halls, art galleries should be there for people's attention to detail and motivation.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0
The response attempts to discuss both views on whether to restore old buildings or replace them with modern ones, offering a personal opinion at the end. However, the development of ideas is limited and somewhat confused. For instance, the discussion regarding ancestors and freedom fighters is underdeveloped and only tangentially connected to the prompt. Furthermore, the length requirement has not been met; the response contains only 230 words, falling short of the 250-word minimum. Because the task is under-length, the development is necessarily truncated, which caps the Task Achievement score at Band 5.0.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0
The essay is organised into four paragraphs, providing a basic structure with an introduction, body paragraphs, and a conclusion. However, the overall progression of ideas is frequently disrupted. Cohesive devices are used awkwardly or inaccurately, such as the abrupt transition in 'Firstly, One of the main constraint...' and the confusing shift in the second body paragraph starting with 'On the other hand, authorities has started...'. Paragraphing is attempted, but internal paragraph cohesion often fails, leading to referencing issues and mechanical transitions.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.0
The vocabulary used is relatively basic and repetitive, with noticeable errors in word choice and spelling that occasionally impede communication. Examples of errors include 'imperative role', 'architectures' used as a countable noun for buildings, 'detroyed', 'authoroties', 'towars', 'fighteres', 'paiting', and 'frr for th audienc'. While the student attempts some less common vocabulary such as 'constraint' and 'immense feeling', inaccurate word forms and spelling mistakes restrict the lexical score to Band 5.0.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0
The student uses a mix of simple and complex sentence forms, but attempts at complex structures are frequently faulty. There are persistent grammatical and punctuation errors throughout the text, such as subject-verb agreement errors ('History and its structures plays', 'authorities has started') and incorrect preposition use. For example, the sentence 'Whether the people thinks that old architectures... but on the contrary, some people believe...' is grammatically incomplete and lacks a clear main clause. Errors are frequent and often cause difficulty for the reader.
