Initiating with the points supporting first school of thougth, firstly, people who think that town halls and art galleries should remain at their orginal position, but need to be repaired only. the individuals who support this say that by replacing in a new place these valuable places eill loss there attraction in pulblic, becuse they are not famous for there history but also the place they are held. Secondly, although reconstruct them involve heavy budget that government have to beer, but these places are also source of i ncome for the state, so to make them maore attractive for public there transformation is essential. Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0

You address both sides of the debate and state a preference for the modern-building view in the introduction, so the reader can identify the broad direction of your response. However, the position is not maintained clearly: the conclusion instead says it is better to refurbish buildings in their original location, then leaves the decision to public opinion. The supporting ideas are also limited or unclear. For example, you mention historical appeal and income from visitors for restoration, while the case for replacement is mainly that a new building could improve the city’s appearance. Explain these points more fully and give a relevant example. Make your own view consistent from the introduction through to the conclusion.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5

The response has a recognisable structure: an introduction, a paragraph for each view, and a conclusion. Signposts such as “Firstly,” “Secondly,” “On its contrasting side,” and “In conclusion” help show the intended stages of the discussion. However, progression within paragraphs is sometimes difficult to follow, and some links are mechanical or unclear. For instance, the sentence beginning “Secondly, although reconstruct them involve heavy budget” combines the cost of restoration with its value as a source of income without making the relationship clear. The conclusion also conflicts with the position stated earlier. Organise each paragraph around one main point, explain how each supporting detail connects to it, and use clear references and transitions rather than relying mainly on formulaic signposting.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You attempt vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “valuable places,” “history,” “source of income,” and “model building.” There is some effort to use less common expressions, but inaccurate word choice, spelling, and collocation are frequent enough to make parts of the argument difficult to understand. Examples include “loss there attraction,” “beer” for the government’s financial responsibility, and “furnished these” for restoring buildings. Several phrases also sound unnatural, such as “in their original position” when referring to a building’s location. Choose precise topic vocabulary and check spelling and word forms carefully. Using familiar, accurate expressions such as “preserve historic buildings” and “allocate public funds” would communicate your ideas more reliably.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and more complex sentence forms, including clauses introduced by “although” and “because.” However, complex sentences are often faulty, and errors in agreement, verb forms, articles, and sentence boundaries frequently interrupt the message. For example, “the individuals who support this say that by replacing in a new place these valuable places…” lacks a clear grammatical structure, while “that increase the beauty” does not agree with its subject. The opening also uses sentence fragments and inconsistent capitalisation. Practise building complete sentences with a clear subject and verb, and check agreement and punctuation before adding subordinate clauses. Greater control of these basic patterns would make your reasoning easier to follow.
