Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.0
You make the purpose of the email clear and give relevant background: you have recently moved to Brookfield, want to develop as a photographer, and have experience and equipment. However, the required points are only partly addressed. You ask how to meet and join the group, but do not clearly ask when and where it meets. You mention previous experience and equipment, yet do not directly ask whether either is required. The request for joining fees is relevant but not one of the stated questions, and the long account of earlier work takes space without explaining specifically what attracts you to this group. Address each prompt point directly and briefly to make the response more complete.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.5
The email follows a basic sequence: you introduce your move and interest, ask about joining, then describe your experience and close politely. This gives the reader some overall organisation. However, ideas are mostly placed in one paragraph and connected repeatedly with “And,” “So,” and “also,” which makes the progression feel mechanical. Some links are unclear, particularly “Before that group I also work in wedding photography. But I want to grown more in that field,” where the relationship between your experience and your reason for leaving is difficult to follow. Use separate paragraphs for your purpose, questions, and background, and connect related ideas more precisely.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use enough topic-related vocabulary to communicate the general subject, including “professional,” “equipment,” “joining fees,” and “wedding photography.” There is some variety in how you describe your background and aims. However, the range is limited and several spelling and word-choice errors make the email less clear or natural, such as “photographar,” “heared,” “equpiment,” and “fied.” Phrases such as “full processes” and “community group center” are also awkward or imprecise. Choose standard expressions for asking about membership and meetings, and check spelling carefully. More accurate collocations would make your questions easier for the manager to understand.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt a few longer sentences and use basic structures to explain your situation and ask for information. Nevertheless, the range is limited, and errors occur frequently enough to make parts of the message difficult to read. For example, “few days ago i shifted in brookfield” has problems with articles, tense, and capitalisation, while “I want to grown more” uses an incorrect verb form. The sentence beginning “And if you want to know about previous group” is also awkwardly constructed, and punctuation is often used to separate short, connected ideas. Practise accurate past-tense forms and build clear questions, such as asking directly when and where the group meets.
