Student answer (Band 5.0)
Nowadays, some people believe that team sports is more beneficial like football while other believe that individual sports like tennis and swimming is more beneficial. Both sports activities has some benefits but playing the team sport in good according to my point of view.
On the one hand, If some people play individual like swimming and tennis, they may have to face some bouring circumstance, and also have to spent more money on sport. For example when one or two people starts tennis game, they must divide total expences on two person and it will more costly as compare to play in team. but individual sports has aslo some benefits like individual people can save their time and finish the game in less than one hour and they can play without any stop or break.
On the other hand, when some players play in group team, they also have some benefits and backdraws. Firstly, when 12 people play cricket match and they bowl on their own turn they also can take rest for a while. All players also divide all expenditure on 12 players and they have to face little amount of expences. Secondly when full team play a match then every match will not less than 5 hour. This will be a more time taking game. They also waste time of all players.
In conclusion, both have some benefits and some flaws but playing in group can more enjoyabel as compare to individual. They can also share their experience with other friends.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
You discuss both team and individual sports and give a clear preference for team sports in the opening and conclusion. Relevant points include sharing costs, taking turns to rest, and the flexibility of individual activities. However, the discussion is only partially developed: the claim that individual sports can be boring is not explained, and the cost comparison is narrow. The team-sport paragraph also focuses on cricket and time demands without explaining broader benefits such as cooperation or motivation. Your opinion that team sports are more enjoyable is stated, but it would be more convincing if supported with a specific reason or example. Develop each main point and make the comparison more balanced and purposeful.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0
The response has a recognisable structure: an introduction, separate paragraphs for the two views, and a conclusion. Signposts such as “On the one hand,” “On the other hand,” and “In conclusion” help readers identify the sections. However, progression within paragraphs is limited, and several points are placed beside one another without a clear explanation of how they support the argument. For example, the individual-sports paragraph moves from boredom to cost and then to saving time, while the team-sports paragraph shifts from taking turns to expenses and match duration. Some linking is repetitive or awkward, and references such as “they” can be unclear. Group related ideas and use clearer links to show cause, contrast, and support.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use enough topic vocabulary to communicate the main ideas, including “team sports,” “individual sports,” “expenditure,” and “experience.” However, the range is limited and several word-choice, collocation, and spelling errors make the writing less clear or natural. Examples include “playing the team sport in good,” “backdraws,” “more costly as compare,” and “more enjoyabel.” Repeated use of “benefits,” “sports,” and “players” also limits variety. Aim to learn common phrases for comparing advantages and disadvantages, and check spelling and word forms carefully. More precise expressions would help you explain ideas such as affordability, flexibility, and enjoyment without relying on vague or inaccurate wording.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and longer sentences, and the overall meaning is usually understandable. However, the range of structures is limited, and frequent errors in agreement, verb forms, articles, and sentence construction sometimes make the reader work to understand the message. For example, “team sports is” and “Both sports activities has” have subject–verb agreement errors; “they have to spent” uses the wrong verb form; and “when one or two people starts” has incorrect agreement. Some sentences also lack a clear grammatical structure, as in “playing the team sport in good according to my point of view.” Practise checking each sentence for a clear subject and verb, then review agreement and verb forms before adding more complex clauses.
